Police in Turkey’s Artvin Province Seize 181 Smuggled E-cigarettes
In an operation conducted in the Sarp village of the Kemalpa?a district in Turkey's Artvin province, smuggled goods belonging to a Georgian citizen were discovered in a warehouse. During the search of the warehouse, 516 kilograms of shisha tobacco, 181 e-cigarettes, 6.7 kilograms of honey, and 2 electronic scales were seized. The suspect has been detained.
This operation was carried out by the special police team of the Artvin provincial gendarmerie command. Based on intelligence, they learned that the warehouse of Georgian citizen A.G. contained smuggled goods that were intended to be released into the market before the New Year.
The special police team conducted a search of the warehouse and seized a large quantity of illegal goods. These goods included approximately 516 kilograms of shisha tobacco, 181 e-cigarettes, 6.7 kilograms of honey, and 2 electronic scales. The suspect has been detained, and the case is under further investigation.
