Hollywood actress Julia Roberts recently publicly admitted that she has tried so-called "magic mushrooms" and described the popularity of vaping among teenagers as "disgusting."

According to a report from the popular American late-night show "Watch What Happens Live," Julia Roberts made this revelation during an appearance on the show hosted by Andy Cohen, where she also participated in his famous game "Plead the Fifth." The rules of the game allow the audience to ask the guest three questions, and the guest can choose not to answer one of them.

A male audience member sparked a discussion about psychoactive substances by asking Roberts about the most extreme drug she has tried. When asked if it was a positive experience, she replied, "Actually, it was quite nice, I won't lie. But I want to tell you, kids, please don't try this stuff."

During a visit to the Toronto International Film Festival, she referred to the popularity of vaping among teenagers as "disgusting" and shared how she discusses the negative impacts of drugs with her three children as a mother.

Roberts stated, "Fortunately, my husband and I have a very close and open relationship with our kids. Whenever we have dinner together, we are not afraid to discuss any topic. It's all part of family conversations: 'Do you know what this is?'; 'Have you heard of this?'; 'Have you tried this?' It's important for parents to be able to communicate freely and openly with their children."

Magic mushrooms (also known as psychedelic mushrooms) contain a substance called psilocybin. When ingested, this substance is converted by the liver through a dephosphorylation process into psilocin, which affects the central nervous system.
