Philip Morris International Appoints Travis Parman as Vice President for U.S. Region

Philip Morris International has appointed Travis Parman as Vice President for the U.S. Region, where he will lead efforts towards a smoke-free future, joining the company at a critical time of transformation, hoping to bring positive changes to the communications sector.

According to a news release from Philip Morris International on November 27, PMI announced the appointment of Travis Parman as Vice President for the U.S. Region and also as the U.S. Communications Director.

PMI stated that Parman will lead the company's business development in the U.S., moving towards the goal of providing a smoke-free future for adults who currently smoke combustible cigarettes and cannot quit.

Stacey Kennedy, President of the Americas and CEO of PMI U.S. Business, expressed, "We are extremely pleased to have Travis join us in realizing our grand vision of promoting a smoke-free future in the U.S."

Parman comes from AppHarvest, a sustainable food company based in Kentucky. Since 2020, he has served as Chief Communications Officer at the company and has held multiple roles in the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, including Vice President of International Communications and Global Engagement Director.

Previously, he held public relations and communications leadership positions at General Motors, Ally Financial, and PulteGroup.

Currently, Parman has begun his new role and will relocate to the company's new global headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
