In September, China’s exports of vaping devices to Kazakhstan totaled about US$6.14 million, up 111.17% month-on-month and down 51.44% year-on-year.
Newswire: Based on updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, 2Firsts compiled statistics on China’s vaping device exports to Kazakhstan in September 2023. Details are as follows:

Export value was approximately US$6.14 million, up 111.17% month-on-month and down 51.44% year-on-year.

Export volume was about 55.5 tons, down 8.05% month-on-month and down 83.85% year-on-year.

The export unit price was US$110.64/kg, up 129.65% month-on-month and up 200.60% year-on-year; the average price of “electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomizing devices” was US$55.3 per unit.

Among them, “electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomizing devices” accounted for 84.3% of export categories, while “non-combustible products for inhalation, without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, containing nicotine” accounted for 15.7%.

According to Statista forecasts, Kazakhstan’s vaping market revenue will reach US$62.6 million in 2023, with expected annual growth of 6.61% (CAGR 2023-2028). On a per capita basis, vaping device spending in Kazakhstan is projected to be US$3.98 in 2023. Vaping devices are becoming more popular in Kazakhstan year by year, with more and more consumers starting to use them.
