China’s E-Cigarette Exports to Paraguay Reach About $9.24 Million in September, Up 4.36% Month on Mo

  In September, China’s e-cigarette exports to Paraguay were approximately US$9.24 million, up 4.36% month on month and 44.98% year on year.

According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, 2Firsts compiled statistics on China’s e-cigarette exports to Paraguay in September 2023. Details are as follows:

 Export value was approximately US$9.24 million, up 4.36% month on month and 44.98% year on year.

Export volume was approximately 175 tons, up 4.34% month on month and 86.31% year on year.

The export unit price was US$52.70/kg, up 0.02% month on month and down 22.18% year on year; the average price of “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomizing devices” was US$5.04/unit.

 Among them, “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic atomizing devices” accounted for 10.99% of export categories, while “non-combustible nicotine-containing products not containing tobacco or reconstituted tobacco” accounted for 89.01%.

According to Statista forecasts, Paraguay’s e-cigarette market revenue is expected to reach US$11.3 million in 2023, with an annual growth rate of 6.74% (CAGR 2023–2028). In per capita terms, e-cigarette spending in Paraguay is projected to reach US$2.03 per person in 2023. Due to the country’s relatively loose regulations and the growing popularity of e-cigarettes among young people, Paraguay’s e-cigarette market is booming.
