China Exported USD 115 Million of E-cigarettes to the UK in September, Up 11.79% MoM
In September, China exported approximately USD 115 million worth of e-cigarettes to the UK, marking an 11.79% month-on-month increase and a 6.71% year-on-year increase.
According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, the statistics for e-cigarette exports from China to the UK in September 2023 are as follows:

The export value was approximately USD 115 million, with an 11.79% month-on-month increase and a 6.71% year-on-year increase.

The export volume was about 2883 tons, representing a 10.30% month-on-month increase and a 36.47% year-on-year increase.

The export price was USD 39.9 per kilogram, with a 1.35% month-on-month increase and a 21.80% year-on-year decrease; the average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" was USD 5.91 per unit.

Among these, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" accounted for 10% of the export categories, while "products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, and are non-combustible nicotine products" accounted for 90%.

Additionally, according to Statista's forecasts, the UK e-cigarette market is expected to generate USD 3.9 billion in revenue by 2023, with an expected annual growth rate of 2.45% (compound annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028); considering the population, the per capita consumption of e-cigarettes in 2023 will reach USD 64.59; the popularity of e-cigarettes in the UK has significantly increased, with more people transitioning from traditional cigarettes to e-cigarettes.
