China’s e-cigarette exports to the United States reached US$256 million in September, up 1.42% month

In September, China's exports of e-cigarettes to the United States reached approximately $256 million, a month-on-month increase of 1.42% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.18%.<\/p>

According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, the two statistics summarize the e-cigarette export data from China to the United States for September 2023. The specifics are as follows:  <\/p>

The export value was approximately $256 million, with a month-on-month increase of 1.42% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.18%.  <\/p>

The export volume was 6,036,602 kilograms, approximately 6,037 tons, with a month-on-month increase of 3.63% and a year-on-year increase of 20.13%.  <\/p>

The export price was $42.39 per kilogram, a month-on-month decrease of 2.14% and a year-on-year decrease of 20.24%; the average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" was $3.11 per unit.  <\/p>

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" accounted for 21.48% of the export categories, while "products containing nicotine that are non-combustible and do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco" accounted for 78.52%.  <\/p>

According to Statista's data forecast, the revenue of the U.S. e-cigarette market is expected to reach $8.3 billion in 2023. The market is projected to grow at an annual growth rate of 3.93% from 2023 to 2028 (CAGR 2023-2028). The U.S. is a major revenue source for e-cigarettes, with an estimated per capita revenue of approximately $27.55 in 2023. Driven by the shift towards healthier alternatives to traditional tobacco products, the U.S. e-cigarette market is rapidly growing.<\/p>
