According to a report from betterretailing on October 16, Philip Morris (PML) is building a dedicated field team to support stores in promoting its new IQOS ILUMA device.

At the product launch held in London last week, PML revealed that it will assemble an on-the-ground team of more than 150 people to reach 10,000 convenience retailers and specialist vaping shops across the UK, while also using 100 brand ambassadors for promotion. In addition, PML will relaunch its digital trade engagement platform. PML hopes this move will help consumers understand that ILUMA uses technology similar to an induction cooktop to heat the tobacco, rather than burning it like a cigarette.
