China's E-Cigarette Exports to Japan Reached US$13.74 Million in August

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- China exported electronic cigarettes to Japan in August 2023, according to updated trade data from China's General Administration of Customs. Exports amounted to about $13.74 million (roughly CNY100 million), down 41.54% sequentially and 55.89% year-on-year. The export volume was 102,239 kg, or about 102 tons, down 42.15% sequentially and 51.92% year-on-year.

The export unit price was $134.41/kg (about CNY978/kg), an increase of 1.06%, down 8.26% year-on-year. And in May this year, Japan's exports were the largest, reaching more than 300 million.
