Two Texas Teens Arrested for Selling Cannabis Vape Products via Social Media

Two teenagers were arrested for selling cannabis-infused e-cigarettes on social media, one of whom is also charged with illegal possession of a weapon and is currently awaiting trial in jail.
According to a report from KBTX TV in Texas on October 7, the two teenagers were arrested for allegedly selling e-cigarettes containing THC through social networking platforms.
Police stated that 17-year-old Anthony Doughty and 19-year-old Kyeia Chavez publicly sold these e-cigarettes on their Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
Undercover officers contacted the two teenagers to clarify the details of the transaction, arranged a meeting, and subsequently arrested them.
Doughty was charged with illegal possession of a weapon, and both he and Chavez face charges of manufacturing and distributing controlled substances. Currently, the two teenagers are awaiting trial in jail.
