Brazilian Police Seize 191 E-Cigarettes of Different Brands on a Bus

On September 21, Brazil’s Federal Highway Police seized 191 e-cigarettes in two separate inspections on a bus traveling on BR-116 in Vitória da Conquista, southwestern Bahia.

According to a September 22 report by bahianoticias, Brazil’s Federal Highway Police confiscated a total of 191 e-cigarettes during two raids carried out on September 21 on a bus along BR-116 in Vitória da Conquista, southwestern Bahia. 

During the inspection, in addition to 191 e-cigarettes of different brands, police also seized 50 smartphones and 32 electronic devices. None of the goods were accompanied by documents of origin or tax documentation. 

The Federal Highway Police stated that e-cigarettes are prohibited items from entering Brazil.
