Recently, a man from Wiltshire, UK, Tobias Stanford, used 80 discarded e-cigarette batteries to power his electric scooter. He stated that he connected the lithium-ion batteries to a scooter he purchased on eBay for £30.

Tobias said that the scooter is now fully functional and "very reliable." "The number of e-cigarettes I see on the streets is indeed alarming; these e-cigarette batteries have the potential to power scooters. However, they are sold as disposable products, which is very wasteful."
He stated that manufacturers and e-cigarette consumers need to pay more attention to e-cigarette waste, as when they are carelessly discarded in large quantities, it not only wastes valuable resources but also causes serious environmental damage.
