JTI Completes Merger of Subsidiaries

Japan Tobacco International (JT INTERNATIONAL) has completed a merger, absorbing its subsidiary Japan Tobacco International Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as JTIH) as the surviving company, while Japan Tobacco International Group Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as JTIGH) will be dissolved.
[Two Above News] On August 23, according to news from Japan Tobacco's official website, Japan Tobacco International (JT INTERNATIONAL) has completed a merger, absorbing its subsidiary Japan Tobacco International Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as JTIH) as the surviving company, while Japan Tobacco International Group Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as JTIGH) will be dissolved.
JTIH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of JT International Group Holding, headquartered in the Netherlands. Its chairman and general manager is Biljana Ivosevic. Japan Tobacco expects the impact of the merger between its subsidiaries to be minimal.
