Industry Alert: Highlighter-Shaped Disposable Vapes Become Key U.S. Enforcement Target
According to reports from multiple U.S. media outlets, disposable vapes designed to look like highlighters have become a key target of U.S. regulatory enforcement.
With the arrival of the new school year, law enforcement and educators in the New York metropolitan area, also known as the Tri-State Area, have expressed serious concern about vaping devices, especially those that are easy to conceal and resemble everyday school supplies. The issue has put both educators and parents on high alert.
A teacher who also owns the school supply store “Beyond the Classroom” said that many vaping devices on the market now resemble highlighters, USB drives, ballpoint pens, and other school items, making it easier for children to use them secretly at school or at home. She urged parents and educators to closely monitor children’s behavior both in school and at home.
One report specifically named a vape company called High Light Vape. Its product, the “Office 4,” looks almost identical to a traditional highlighter, with bright colors and even a chisel tip. This kind of design makes it easier for students to smuggle vapes into school.
The disguising of vapes as school supplies has drawn widespread attention across the United States. GeWu Consumer advises upstream supply chain companies to take this issue seriously and avoid producing products in this category, so as to prevent losses caused by enforcement actions from relevant authorities.
