8 Batches Worth Over RMB 20 Million: Dongguan–Hong Kong International Airport Center’s Vaping Air Ex

According to Southern Plus, Dongguan Port International Air Transport (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., a registered operator under the e-cigarette transshipment regulatory program of Hong Kong Customs, has completed 8 batches of air transport exports of e-cigarettes from the airport center, with a value exceeding 20 million RMB.
The report noted that Dongguan has a solid foundation in the e-cigarette industry, with 109 licensed e-cigarette companies and an industry scale of nearly 30 billion RMB. With the Hong Kong Legislative Council passing amendments to the Import and Export Ordinance in June, mainland e-cigarette products can be transported to Hong Kong Airport via a combined sea and air transport method, providing new development opportunities for Dongguan's e-cigarette exports.
The report mentioned that the port authority conducted preliminary research on the e-cigarette business, actively communicated business details with relevant departments, and connected with related enterprises to promote the e-cigarette business. On July 13, the first batch of e-cigarette products was transported to Hong Kong Airport via the airport center, officially launching the air export business for e-cigarettes.
The port authority stated that it will continue to strengthen support for the development of Dongguan's e-cigarette companies, aiming to provide higher quality services and flexible, efficient, and cost-effective air export channels for e-cigarette products made in Dongguan.
