Over 60% of the Irish public support a ban on disposable e-cigarettes?

A recent survey conducted by the Irish independent polling agency Ipsos found that 64% of respondents support banning the sale of disposable e-cigarettes, while only 28% oppose the measure and 8% are unsure.

The charity’s submission also emphasized the environmental harm caused by disposable e-cigarettes, noting that these products cannot be recycled and contain plastic, copper, and lithium batteries. Ireland has now announced a public consultation on e-cigarettes.
