How much is a RELX 5th-gen pod?
Since the introduction of the new policy, RELX has adjusted its product lineup. What used to range from RELX 1st generation through 5th generation has now been streamlined into a single compatible platform: RELX 5th generation. At the same time, RELX has further segmented its 5th-generation products into three price tiers—entry-level, mid-range, and premium—named the Qingyu series, Phantom series, and Phantom Pro series, with both devices and pods available for each.
As for how much a RELX 5th-generation product costs, that is a bit more complicated, because at this stage almost all RELX products on the market are essentially 5th-generation products.
You can understand it this way: current RELX 5th-generation prices have generally gone up. Even tobacco-flavored products have become more expensive, and the lowest retail price for pods is basically above 99. The reason is simple: tobacco tax. All new national-standard products are now sourced through the tobacco system, and even the wholesale prices for stores already include tax, so retail prices naturally rise as well. Compared with the past, both store margins and brand-side profits have declined.
