Ukraine to Enforce New Vaping Rules on July 11: No Fruit Flavors, 2% Nicotine, 2ml Capacity Limit
According to reports from local Ukrainian media, Ukraine will ban the use of vaping devices in public places starting July 11. Selling and using them in public places may result in fines of up to 50,000 hryvnias. Ukraine will also restrict the sale of vaping products, with the following limits applying to related products:
1. Vitamins or other similar additives may not be added;
2. Caffeine, taurine, and other energy-boosting additives may not be added;
3. Additives that color the aerosol may not be added;
4. Flavoring additives may not be added (such as menthol, fruit, candy, etc.);
5. The capacity of disposable and pod-based products must not exceed 2 ml;
6. For open-system devices, the capacity of an e-liquid bottle must not exceed 10 ml;
7. Nicotine content must not exceed 20 mg/ml.
Violations of the above regulations will be subject to a fine of 20,000 hryvnias, and repeated violations will be subject to a fine of 50,000 hryvnias. Below is the official explanatory poster for the regulations:
