Norway's Health Ministry Proposes Ban on Flavored Vaping Products
On July 10, due to the increase in young people using e-cigarettes in the EU, Norway's Health Ministry submitted a regulatory bill for e-cigarettes.
The bill includes: a ban on adding any flavors other than tobacco to e-cigarette e-liquids. This proposal is based on similar principles already implemented in countries like Finland and Denmark. It requires standard packaging for e-cigarettes and similar products. This proposal is based on similar regulations already implemented in Denmark and the Netherlands.

Additionally, the Health Ministry proposed minor amendments to the law, such as explicitly prohibiting smoking restrictions to adapt to the many new tobacco products emerging in the market, explicitly banning the visible display of tobacco products, and introducing consistency to ensure the coherence of existing regulations. The government submitted the bill on June 9, which will be reviewed by the parliamentary health committee, and the amended regulations will take effect after being passed by the parliament.
