The Sichuan Tobacco Monopoly Bureau conducted random quality inspections of vape products in the first half of 2023, sampling 8 sets of electronic cigarette products (8 device products and 8 tobacco stick products) from 3 companies holding electronic cigarette brands.This inspection was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Sichuan Province Electronic Cigarette Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Plan (H1 2023)" and focused on 12 safety indicators, including anti-filling, anti-leakage, start protection, waterproofing, drop strength, nicotine content in aerosol, 2,3-butanedione in aerosol, heavy metals in aerosol, arsenic in aerosol, nicotine release from electronic cigarettes, carbonyl compound release from electronic cigarettes, and additives in aerosol. The inspection results showed that all sampled products met the requirements of the national standard for electronic cigarettes (GB 41700-2022) for all 12 safety indicators.This is hereby reported.Sichuan Tobacco Monopoly BureauJuly 7, 2023
