Former RELX national distributor No.1 Machine removes e-cigarette business from scope of operations
Today, on April 19, news from Qichacha shows that Shenzhen No. 1 Machine Operating Company has officially removed e-cigarettes from its scope of operations, meaning this well-known former RELX national distributor has officially bid farewell to the e-cigarette industry in China.

No. 1 Machine is a well-known communication channel company under Aiside, focusing on e-cigarette wholesale and other businesses. It was once the national distributor for RELX, helping to develop over 5,000 specialty stores at its peak.
According to the e-cigarette management regulations, after the enforcement of e-cigarette supervision on May 1 last year, e-cigarette wholesale must be applied for by local tobacco companies, which means that private e-cigarette wholesalers have officially bid farewell to the e-cigarette wholesale business.
According to a compliance reminder letter issued by Shenzhen regulatory authorities, companies that have not obtained an e-cigarette license need to deregister or change their scope of operations.
