Singapore Busts Largest-Ever E-cigarette Case: Supply Chain Worth Over SGD 2.2 Million Dismantled, 1
Recently, Singapore police busted the largest electronic cigarette case in history, dismantling a supply chain worth over SGD 2.2 million and arresting 11 men.

According to news reports today, on the evening of March 28, police took down six men suspected of illegal electronic cigarette trading in a multi-story car park at Block 592, Montreux Link, in Sembawang. The ages of the suspects ranged from 22 to 27 years.

During a raid on a warehouse in Wanchai, over 85,000 electronic cigarettes and related components were seized, successfully dismantling the largest illegal electronic cigarette supply chain.

Under Singapore law, illegal import, distribution, and sale of tobacco products, including shisha, smokeless tobacco, chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, and their accessories, can result in fines of up to SGD 10,000 or 6 months in prison, or both; repeat offenders may face fines of up to SGD 20,000 or 12 months in prison, or both; individuals illegally purchasing, possessing, or using electronic cigarettes can be fined up to SGD 2,000.
The Singapore Health Sciences Authority emphasizes that the purchase, use, and possession of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in Singapore.
