The packaging of the VIE is very exquisite, and the design is quite innovative.

From the above description, it can be seen that the VIE does not have many unique features compared to current mainstream pod systems; it is basically standard equipment, and in some aspects, it even exceeds standard specifications.
The VIE has a flat design similar to mainstream pod systems, but the cutouts on both sides of the device give it a unique look, enhancing both its usability and aesthetics. The matte finish also improves the feel and quality of the VIE.
The lower part of the VIE body (next to the logo) features an LED indicator light
which displays a blue light during use
and also serves as a battery level indicator.
The top has a viewing window to monitor the remaining e-liquid in the pod, but due to the small opening, it does not function effectively during use.
The bottom is naturally where the USB charging port is located. During charging, the indicator light shows red, and when charging is complete, it turns green. The USB interface supports charging while using, which is very convenient and practical; in places where allowed, the VIE can be considered a "never-ending power" pod system.
The VIE pods do not use a magnetic attachment design but rather a push-fit connection. From the construction of the pod and the depth of the connection at the top of the device, we can clearly see the tightness of the connection, which can be described as very secure.
However, the deep insertion of the pod leads to another issue: it requires a firm grip on the mouthpiece to pull out the pod completely. This issue did not occur when using the mint flavor pod, and it was not present when removing another pod, so it seems to be an isolated case.
In fact, the essence of a pod system lies in the pod itself. The internal filling of nicotine salt e-liquid has become mainstream, and the VIE is no exception. The tobacco flavor pod, while not as refined as those with ceramic cores, performs well, providing a smooth and strong hit. After about 10 puffs on the tobacco flavor pod, I achieved the desired sensation. The mint flavor pod also provided a refreshing effect (with a mild flavor and a cooling sensation).
Like some other pods, the VIE pods also support refilling; by removing the silicone cap on the mouthpiece, you can easily refill the pod using a needle-style portable bottle, which is straightforward and effectively reduces usage costs.
To be honest, the flavor options provided with the VIE pods are limited, which may not be friendly for users with specific flavor preferences, but I feel that the tobacco and mint flavors are well-selected.
From the perspective of smoking cessation, having too many flavors might interfere with our quitting process (becoming addicted to a specific flavor can prolong the quitting period), making it less favorable for quickly achieving our smoking cessation goals. However, the two flavors of e-liquid allow for a gradual transition from smoking to quitting, of course, this also requires strong willpower as support.
In fact, compared to mainstream pod systems, the VIE has thoughtful design features, such as each individually packaged pod comes with a dust cap, which not only protects the pod but can also be used on the mouthpiece, making it quite practical.
From two days of alternating use of the two flavors, the VIE did not experience any leaking issues, indicating that the pod's airtightness is satisfactory. The draw resistance is also quite appropriate, neither too tight nor too loose.
Regarding the official claim of zero delay in use, I found the response to be quick enough, achieving the "ready to use" experience seamlessly.
Compared to complicated and flashy large vapor devices, pod systems are extremely simple and understated; compared to heated tobacco devices that are temporarily unable to gain popularity due to policy restrictions, pod systems have already become a trend.
Thus, it can be seen that in fulfilling the mission of smoking cessation, at least for the foreseeable future, pod systems are quite suitable; they are easy to use, even more so than traditional cigarettes, and produce no open flames, ash, or secondhand smoke; they are effective and suitable for various occasions, making them the best companion on our journey to quit smoking.
However, manufacturers still need to continuously improve the taste and safety quality of the pods to ensure they are closer to real cigarettes.
