Designers always hope to solve a problem with disruptive thinking, using methods different from the norm.

Geek Vape's designers are no exception. The newly released LOOP RDA atomizer features an unprecedented design, and today I will share the pros and cons of this design.

Atomizer Packaging

Geek Vape's acrylic transparent packaging has always been a hallmark of straightforward product presentation.

I particularly like the clash of orange and black, as these are also the colors of my motorcycle, blending cleverness with a touch of passion.

On the back of the packaging box, LOOP features an English introduction explaining the new design of this atomizer, its advantages, and relevant markings such as the manufacturer, address, and anti-counterfeiting information.

Safety is something Geek Vape has never made me worry about.

Product List

The acrylic box includes one LOOP atomizer, one 510 drip tip, a tool kit (including a multifunctional screwdriver, a 510 drip tip adapter, bottom fill screws, spare screws, and several O-rings), a user manual, a warranty card, and a warning card set, making the accessories very complete.

However, I hope the manufacturer can include one or two coils in the accessory bag, as Geek Vape's 6-in-1 coil series looks quite exciting.

Atomizer Appearance

The appearance of the atomizer is not particularly outstanding, but its aesthetic appeal is not to be underestimated; it definitely won't lose its charm in six months. The matte airflow adjustment ring in the middle is enough for me to rave about for a year.

The LOGO is exquisitely crafted, the matte finish is non-slip, and the overall look is very stable. The PEI material drip tip is mainstream among the mainstream.

Returning to the creativity, I wonder if a drip tip will emerge as a surprise in the future.

Atomizer Components

The Loop RDA consists of three parts: the drip tip, the atomizer cover, and the electrode base. It remains true to its essence, as an RDA still utilizes the fewest components to meet extreme demands.

Atomizer Cover

The Loop's atomizer cover is made of stainless steel, with perfect craftsmanship details on the inner wall, which also features a fixed notch to prevent the atomizer from easily rotating and changing the airflow position.

However, the heat dissipation of stainless steel is slightly inferior compared to aluminum and other materials, as heat tends to concentrate.

Atomizer Electrode Base

The electrode base is the key focus today. From an appearance standpoint, the round base has not changed much, but the electrode platform on top is worlds apart from traditional atomizers.

The W-shaped design integrates the wire locking platform with the airflow inlet, while the small semicircles on both sides serve as cotton placement spots. The deep cotton slot at the bottom helps improve the RDA's endurance.

The postless coil fixing platform significantly reduces the time required for coil installation, making it easy and convenient.

The angled airflow inlets on both sides slightly slow down the airflow speed, enhancing concentration and increasing vapor production. Coils can be configured for single or dual setups, depending on the user's needs.

The W-shaped groove on top tightly wraps the coil, and as air flows, it also envelops the coil, enhancing the richness of flavor and ensuring that every bit of vapor produced by the coil is fully drawn in.

Conclusion

When installing the coil, attention must be paid to the length of the coil legs; both too short and too long can affect the flavor. With the airflow fully open, there is no empty feeling, and the vapor production is quite good.

I used a Clapton dual coil with a resistance of 0.18, closing the airflow to one-third, which significantly increased the richness of the vapor and the sweetness of the e-liquid.

However, in terms of layering, I feel it is slightly lacking; the main flavor is very pronounced while the secondary flavors are somewhat muted. In terms of positioning, the LOOP RDA is more suitable for single-flavor e-liquids.

Regarding the W-shaped electrode platform design, I find it very innovative. Geek Vape is indeed putting in effort to cater to us diverse users.
