Today we got a new e-cigarette for testing. Quite a few people around us have been using it recently, and some even recommended it, so here is an unboxing-style review to share what makes this device different. As more people look for smoking alternatives
Today I got my hands on a new e-cigarette. Quite a few people around me have been using it lately, and some even recommended it to me. So today I’m doing an unboxing review to share with everyone and see what makes this device special.
First of all, more and more people now want to quit smoking. Some have tried e-cigarettes before, felt they were not very good, and gave up. But as a longtime smoker who has used all kinds of e-cigarettes, I can say that advances in technology have made e-cigarettes much more user-friendly. The one I have today, the Kissone Vapor, has quite a background. It comes from Australia and naturally carries a certain international flair. For Chinese users, the English name is a bit long and not easy to say, so we’ll simply call it the K1.
Appearance
When I first picked up this e-cigarette kit, it had a slight but noticeable weight to it. It is a little smaller than an adult’s palm, and the packaging style is similar to that of an iPhone. The front is printed with an image of the device, while the bottom has related information in English.
Main device and accessories
After removing the clear outer wrap and opening the box, the package includes:
1 device, 4 different pods, 1 charger, 1 manual, 1 user guide, and 2 disposable silicone mouthpiece covers.
The user guide is very practical
The seller includes a Chinese manual and user guide in the box, with very detailed illustrated instructions. For example, it explains the correct inhalation method, airflow resistance adjustment, and how to insert and remove the pod. It also points out some common usage mistakes. For first-time e-cigarette users, this is genuinely very helpful.
The in-hand feel is impressive
The box leaves space for easy removal of the device, so taking it out is effortless. I have to say, the alloy body of the K1 feels especially good in the hand, with a very refined texture. I’ve heard it uses the same shell material as the iPhone. Under the light, the way every point and line reflects is very attractive. Although it is light in weight, it still has that subtle metallic heft, so the overall feel is premium and comfortable to hold.
Charge anytime for added convenience
Some people previously mentioned that when they received a new device, it had no power and could not produce vapor. In the official product highlights, it is specifically emphasized that the K1 is equipped with a high-performance 300mAh lithium battery that supports charging while in use and can be fully charged in about an hour.
I also tested the charging. Compared with how easy it is to remove the device, taking out the charging head is a little harder. Both the bottom of the device and the charging connector use magnetic attachments. With just a light touch, they snap securely into place. I think this is a great feature, since it can be used directly with a computer, a wall charger, or even a power bank.
After about 45 minutes of charging, the charging indicator stopped flashing. I chose a low-strength Cool Mint pod and installed it according to the instructions. As the pod was inserted, the device indicator flashed, giving the whole installation process a nice sense of ceremony.
Draw-activated startup feels high-tech
The K1 has a very clean overall design, and it is also very simple to operate. I personally tested the K1’s draw-activated startup. If you inhale too lightly, it may not activate the switch; if you inhale too hard, the first puff may make you cough. Based on my testing, the best method is to draw naturally, just like smoking a cigarette. There is no need to puff too sharply or too frequently. A gentle, slow draw gives the best vapor performance.
Close to the taste of a real cigarette, making switching easy
A standard K1 kit comes with four different pods: standard-strength Mango Ice and Original Tobacco flavors, plus low-strength Cool Mint and Strong Tobacco flavors. Personally, I prefer the Cool Mint flavor because it is crisp and refreshing. But if you are more attached to a tobacco taste, then try Original Tobacco. I have not been smoking for that many years myself, but Strong Tobacco definitely delivers a solid throat hit. The official recommendation is that smokers with less than five years of smoking history, or those who smoke about one pack a day, should choose the low-strength version, while longtime heavy smokers should opt for the standard strength.
Review conclusion
Overall, the K1 is a very user-friendly e-cigarette. It looks stylish and compact, and the feel in hand is excellent. It is very convenient to carry in a pocket or backpack when going out. It can also be used in almost any setting, and when a pod runs out, you can replace it at any time, which is more convenient than refill-type e-cigarettes. Since there is no need to adjust power or vapor output, once you get used to the K1’s draw-activated startup, you may like it even more and better appreciate how easy it is as a cigarette substitute. #p#Page Break Title#e#
Annoying ash, bad breath, and secondhand smoke all disappear. Most importantly, the K1 uses imported raw materials from Australia, which gives greater peace of mind. Compared with similar e-cigarettes, it also offers strong value for money, and the pods are cheaper as well. It is suitable both for smokers buying an e-cigarette for the first time and for longtime smokers like me to use over the long term. The only group it does not really suit is people who enjoy producing large vapor clouds or treating vaping devices as a hobby. This is simply a cigarette replacement product.
Honestly, this is a very good product and definitely worth recommending!
