AUG VAPE Templar RDA Review

 　　What does vapor mean to you? What is electronic cigarette to you? Is it a tool for quitting smoking? Is it a means of performance? <\/p>   　　The Merlin RTA, Merlin mini RTA, Druga RDA, and V200 MOD are all classic vaping devices that have received high praise in the market, all from the same brand—AUGVAPE. Despite a not very extensive product line, it boasts so many classic products, showcasing AUG VAPE's design strength and attitude.
  　　The official Chinese name is "Templar" RDA, which can also be literally translated as "Temple Knight" RDA. Will the Templar RDA stir up a wave again? Let's take a look.
  　　The Templar RDA kit includes:
  　　The Templar RDA is packaged in a black paper cylindrical box with a diameter of 45mm and a length of 82mm, maintaining AUG VAPE's consistent style. Inside, there is one Templar RDA, one PC material bullet cap, several spare O-rings, one 810 adapter, one single coil component, and one bottom fill screw.
  　　First, let's take a look at the atomizer itself, which can be roughly divided into four parts:
  　　The base, outer cover, inner cover, and drip tip.
  　　The outer cover has grooves for fixing, which can be matched with the protrusions on the base to improve installation accuracy and reduce adjustments after installing the cover; the inner cover regulates airflow, providing infinite adjustment, while lazy users can observe the airflow holes for six levels of adjustment.
  　　The build deck of the Templar RDA adopts a user-friendly single-screw clamp structure, integrating the classic U-shaped dual-post four-hole structure, making it more convenient for building coils and operation.
  　　The upper clamp of the build deck features a brass insert with zirconia ceramic components, which serve as insulation. The screws on the clamp are connected to the clamp via a buckle, allowing for simultaneous lifting of the clamp while tightening the screws, making this reset structure more mature and stable compared to spring resets.
  　　The lower part of the build deck has a transparent opening, allowing e-liquid to flow into the juice wells on both sides when using BF electrode screws with BF devices.
  　　The insulating components seem to be made of ceramic material, and during use, except for a few small-gauge coils, most coils can be securely fixed in the threading holes; the accompanying single coil component solves the worries of players with limited wire leftovers (saving money, haha).
  　　Also equipped with NI80 dual-core Clapton coils, five wraps, with a 3.0mm diameter:
  　　Using a stainless steel chamber: the vapor production is quite considerable; when the airflow is fully open, it feels like using an atomizer designed specifically for vapor production, with low resistance, but not too airy; when the airflow is closed by 1/3, the dome of the inner cover begins to show its effect, increasing resistance while simultaneously enhancing flavor, with vapor production not decreasing significantly.
  　　When using the Templar RDA, Pak used a VTEC regulated box mod. If the Templar RDA is a knight wielding a sharp blade (Pak, in a whimsical moment, thinks the electrode posts look like the sword in the stone…), then paired with the powerful VTEC, it feels like the knight is in a 67 Chevy Impala, conquering traditional cigarettes effortlessly.
  　　Regardless of the data or the type of atomizer used, the Templar RDA performs quite well overall. The segmented adjustable airflow of the stainless steel chamber provides impactful airflow, allowing the Templar RDA to accurately reproduce the flavor of e-liquid, with full vapor and moderate temperature; the PC's reverse airflow, while not adjustable, can also provide impactful airflow through changes in airflow direction, allowing the Templar RDA to accurately reproduce the flavor of e-liquid, but compared to the balanced and moderate temperature vapor of the stainless steel chamber, the PC chamber's flavor is slightly more pronounced in the aftertaste, and the vapor temperature is slightly higher than that of the stainless steel chamber.
  　　The dual-chamber design of stainless steel and PC gives players more choices when using the Templar RDA; the impactful airflow is a guarantee of excellent flavor; combining the single-screw clamp structure with the U-shaped dual-post four-hole structure makes the Templar RDA very easy to build coils. This versatile, easy-to-use, and flavorful Templar RDA can be considered AUG VAPE's flagship product for 2018.
  　　The Templar RDA reminds Pak of the initial intention of getting into electronic cigarettes, which was to quit smoking, then gradually wanting to produce cool vapor rings, and now, it has become a habit of life, both combating the harm of traditional cigarettes and enjoying the satisfaction brought by large vapor clouds.
