Offline Vape Shops Will Flourish in the Future
Previously, it has been reported that many manufacturers have opened physical e-cigarette stores in China, and now the number of e-cigarette stores is increasing, showing a trend of blooming everywhere. It is estimated that there is still a large wave of people preparing to open or considering opening stores, but feeling uncertain about the prospects and waiting to see. However, this situation will change in the future.
Before 2013, there were hardly any e-cigarette sellers online except for those selling imitation cigarettes. Now, the online market has flourished, and it seems that most QQ group leaders are sellers. Recently, I have seen a few people opening physical stores. Looking at the sales data on Taobao, it’s hard to remain calm; I didn’t expect that after a period of not paying attention, sales have surged. Before June 2014, Yikang ranked first, with monthly sales in the thousands, which was the highest. Now, the top sellers are selling thousands of units! On the first, second, and third pages, I didn’t see Yikang’s presence!
Although online sales are doing well now, and the internet is the trend, I believe that physical e-cigarette stores will still be mainstream in the future because e-cigarettes are special products and consumables, and buying online is too troublesome. Especially for e-liquids, it can take several days to arrive, and physical stores don’t have shipping costs, which makes prices comparable to online stores!
