A Real-World Review of the RELX Vaping Device
Many people are currently discussing the RELX e-cigarette online, and it is indeed very popular. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to talk about RELX with everyone. When it comes to smoking alternatives, it’s hard not to mention a product like IQOS, produced by Philip Morris International, the world's largest tobacco company. The good product experience and social environment have allowed IQOS to quickly accumulate a large user base in the country.
However, recently, for various reasons, many IQOS users have expressed sentiments on social media. It turns out that one cannot fully trust online articles; you only know the quality after purchasing it yourself. To conclude: the packaging, design, craftsmanship, and manual are all excellent, but the flavor of the tobacco sticks needs improvement.
1. Packaging
The overall packaging feels high-end.
All instructions are concise and to the point.
Its official name is: RELX, pod-based e-cigarette.
It has a matte finish.
The package includes two pods, one classic tobacco and one refreshing mint.
The manual is well done, clear and concise, and specifically explains what condensation is and how to handle it.
2. Device
The device has a matte texture, feels great in hand, and the status light is also of high quality. The pods are finely crafted, with a ceramic structure inside.
The pod connects to the device magnetically; the magnetism is slightly weak but not enough to cause it to fall off.
The bottom has a different charging port.
It comes with a leather case, which also feels good.
Carrying it around gives a sense of luxury.
The size is also well controlled.
3. Flavor
Classic tobacco pod: The throat hit is moderate, and it’s hard to taste the tobacco flavor; there is a noticeable glycerin taste and a slight burnt glycerin smell (VG or PG taste; I’m not a professional, so I don’t know which element creates this flavor, but it’s the taste of the main components of the e-liquid, without the flavor that should come from the spice blend).
Refreshing mint pod: The throat hit is pronounced, perhaps due to the cooling effect of the mint, which makes the throat hit more noticeable. There is a clear cooling flavor and some mint taste, with almost no glycerin taste; this pod feels quite good.
4. Grip and lip feel
The design is excellent, with a great grip. The mouthpiece design is also outstanding, providing a great lip feel.
5. Condensation
It is said that there is a special design to prevent condensation, but the manual states that condensation may occur; I will report on this experience in a few days.
Experience: Only by purchasing the product yourself can you fully understand its pros and cons, or if we have forums where official testers are required to boldly state both pros and cons, other evaluations cannot be fully trusted.
