When you first see the Rolo Badge, you might think it’s just an upside-down Suorin Drop. While the appearance is quite similar, are there differences between the Rolo and the Drop? This is a question we aim to clarify today.

The design of the Rolo can essentially be seen as an upside-down Suorin Drop, easily reminiscent of a police badge. Interestingly, SMOK even added a rubber button to the Rolo that has no function on the Drop. Although SMOK shaped the Rolo like a badge, this copying behavior is not unusual in China.

Unlike SMOK's recent releases, the Infinix and Fit, the Drop itself supports refillable e-liquid, so the Rolo cannot offer a different design in this regard. While both devices look very similar, we found that there are noticeable differences in the experience after use.
Rolo Badge Vape Review The Rolo body is made of zinc alloy, crafted well, and its weight is quite similar to that of the Drop and Kado Stealth. The Drop offers players a more elegant visual experience, while the Rolo features a more rugged and flat edge design.

Some styles of the Rolo, like the Drop, also use anodized treatment. Overall, the Rolo's body is more prone to scratches and will become a fingerprint collector, which is an unavoidable issue with mirrored bodies. However, from an aesthetic perspective, the Rolo ultimately has a very good texture.

Since the Rolo has inverted the Drop's design, although both devices have the same e-liquid capacity, the Rolo's pods are slightly shorter. The pods have a black appearance, and unless in well-lit environments, players cannot easily observe the remaining e-liquid.

The filling method for the pods is the same as the Drop, and both have two filling holes. It is recommended to use a syringe bottle to fill the e-liquid, as the ample space inside the pod allows the e-liquid to easily flow into the other reservoir, so players do not need to refill both filling holes repeatedly.
Rolo Badge Vape Review The pods use a magnetic attachment design but lack a slot. While this is not a major issue, players might prefer to hear a crisp "click" sound when installing the pod.

At first, the Rolo left me with a very good impression. However, after using it for a while, the device began to experience issues such as failure to ignite or not stopping promptly (we will discuss the charging process later). These problems (except for the charging issue) appeared within two weeks of use, but the same issue did not recur. What I can think of is that perhaps by copying the Drop, they also copied over its shortcomings.

If your device also encounters ignition failure or inability to stop working, please remove the pod and reinstall it. If the problem persists, thoroughly clean the bottom contacts of the pod and any residual e-liquid on the battery casing. If that still doesn’t work, you may have to let it "retire."

The battery life of the Rolo is comparable to its 250mAh capacity, which is not very long-lasting. If you use it frequently, frequent charging is unavoidable. Additionally, the Rolo has a problem: players cannot know how long the device needs to charge because the charging indicator does not turn off when fully charged.
Rolo Badge Vape Review During use, a beam of light shines towards the pod from the bottom of the device, but the brightness is low. When charging, the indicator shows white, and when the battery is depleted, the indicator shows red; however, I would prefer a transitional color to indicate that the battery is running low.

Although the Rolo has very good quality and a satisfying user experience, the battery issues will be an obstacle to my recommendation. Ignition failure and unreasonable charging design will affect the user experience. If these issues cannot be resolved, perhaps the Drop would be a better choice. If SMOK can address these problems in the future, the Rolo could become a highly recommended device. #p#分页标题#e#
