Vaporesso has adopted a multi-brand strategy, and its brand-new sub-brand Renova has officially launched. Renova focuses on the R&D of pod products, and Zero, as its first-generation product, carries high expectations, signaling a new beginning and a new journey!
Next, let’s take a closer look at Zero and experience its exceptional appeal. This review uses the SILVER color kit of the Zero:
Zero is available in 9 different color options:
Vaporesso kept the packaging design for Zero fairly minimalist. From the product render, we can see that this vaping device has a very attractive design, making you want to take it out and try it right away:
The package also includes an extra refill bottle for convenient daily use. As for why this bottle is included, there’s definitely a reason for it—we’ll get to that shortly.
Device size: 31×13.5×80.2mm
Pod capacity: 2ml
Maximum charging current: 1A
Output power: 9W-12.5W
Coil resistance: 1 ohm
The front of the device features a laser-etched Zero logo. At the bottom is the power button, which also serves as the output mode switch and working indicator light. The Zero can switch output power to match nicotine salt e-liquid of different strengths, helping users adjust to their preferred draw and flavor experience (three adjustable levels between 9W and 12.5W). The indicator light automatically illuminates when you inhale.
The back features the Renova logo, and the flat body feels very comfortable in the hand. The overall construction uses zinc alloy + PCTG, marking the first use of PCTG material in an e-cigarette product. PCTG has passed relevant FDA certification in the United States, and is safe and non-toxic, offering greater peace of mind during use.
The Zero’s Micro-USB charging port is located at the bottom of the device. It has a built-in 650mAh high-performance lithium battery, supports 1A fast charging, and includes multiple protection features to ensure both user experience and safety. It takes about 45 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%, or about the length of one game if you top it up at half charge.
The Zero’s battery life is also completely adequate. In testing, at full charge and using the highest power setting (12.5W), it delivered around 150 puffs (the total puff count may vary depending on puff duration and is for reference only).
The mouthpiece is ergonomically designed and fits the lips perfectly, making it very comfortable to use. The chimney length is moderate, which suggests good flavor reproduction. It comes preinstalled with Vaporesso’s well-reviewed CCELL ceramic coil. This special ceramic heating material can deliver a purer e-liquid flavor and an optimal nicotine delivery experience. The coil durability is also solid, with long-term use having relatively little impact on flavor. Its handling of condensation is hard to fault.
The pod connects to the device magnetically, and the device automatically recognizes the pod when inserted. The pod uses PTF filling technology—a new refill method where you simply align the refill bottle with the fill port and press down to refill. This may be one of the simplest refill operations currently available for a pod system.
The Zero’s airflow-activated switch is very sensitive, automatically starting when you inhale. The built-in automatic temperature control and e-liquid level detection functions are also thoughtful additions, effectively preventing dry hits. When the e-liquid level is too low, the device automatically stops the coil from operating, making it safe and beginner-friendly.
During use, the reviewer found that when using low-strength nicotine salt e-liquid with a mouth-to-lung draw, the flavor felt a little “light.” A restricted direct-lung inhale can solve this issue. When using higher-strength nicotine salt e-liquid, however, the Zero’s excellent flavor performance really stands out. After communicating with Vaporesso, the reviewer learned that this effect was intentionally designed that way.
A pod system that can both handle a restricted direct-lung inhale for a bit of vapor and satisfy users looking for a cigarette alternative—two uses in one device, and a very enjoyable one at that!
The press-to-fill refill system used for the first time on the Vaporesso Zero greatly simplifies refilling while also providing better leak resistance. The e-liquid inside the Zero pod cannot be poured back out; you can only refill it after finishing the current liquid, so the Zero is better suited for everyday all-day e-liquid rather than frequently testing new flavors. The new ceramic coil improves coil lifespan, and the built-in 2ml pod can meet the daily needs of most users switching from cigarettes. #p#Page Title#e#
