 　　IJOY has just released an amazing new kit. The IJOY Diamond PD270 is a mod with an atomizer mounted in the center, capable of using two 20700 or 18650 batteries (with a silicone battery adapter). The Diamond PD270 has a maximum power output of up to 234W, and its price is commensurate with its power configuration. Although it looks sleek, it is not small, measuring: 92 mm x 49 mm x 34.5 mm.

  　　The Diamond PD270 is paired with the Captain X3S sub-ohm tank—a smaller version of the Captain X3 big cloud sub-ohm tank. It features the IWEPAL chipset, which means it operates as safely as the Captain and Genie regulated mods, but with a more stylish appearance. The diamond logo is paired with the golden word DIAMOND, with a line below stating PD270, where P stands for high performance, D stands for dual battery, and 270 represents the battery model 20700.   　　Upon opening the package, you find the DIAMOND PD270 mod, paired with the Captain X3S SUBOHM tank. This mod looks like a direct competitor to the Vaporesso Revenger mod. The Diamond is slightly larger than the Revenger mod, with a power output of up to 234W, which it can certainly achieve! After all, it is equipped with two 20700 batteries. IJOY also offers its own brand of 20700 batteries for consumers to purchase, ensuring reliability when used with the original batteries.   　　The Diamond PD270 mod can accommodate any atomizer with a diameter of up to 33.5mm without any overhang, meaning it supports all atomizers currently on the market, except for the monster atomizer Titan with a diameter of 41mm. We are pleased to see that IJOY has not added any flashy LED lights to the Diamond PD270. The Diamond looks quite attractive without excessive lighting decorations.   　　The all-black version of the Diamond PD270 can be considered the sexiest mod.

  　　This kit is paired with the shorter Captain X3S tank. The 25mm Captain X3S has a 4.2ml e-liquid capacity and uses the same coils as the Captain X3. IJOY has filled the gap between the previous X3-C1 and X3-C3 coils by introducing the X3-C2 coil. The pre-installed coil in the tank has a resistance of 0.3Ω, with a recommended power of 60-100W. IJOY seems to have replaced the wide-bore cobra drip tip from the X3 with a resin 810 drip tip. The resin drip tip looks cool, and while it may lack the stylish patterns of the cobra drip tip, durability is always a plus. The tank features a slide-top refill design, allowing for easy one-handed refilling. The X3-C1 coil has oil holes on all four sides, ensuring timely oil delivery without dry hits, while the bottom of the coil adopts a new design with four air holes, reducing the chances of leaking! The flavor is smooth, and the e-liquid restoration is very accurate, providing a satisfying experience with big clouds of vapor.

  　　The Diamond PD270 kit is available in 12 color configurations, and the all-black version of the Diamond PD270 can be considered the sexiest mod, though this is just my personal opinion. In 2018, we have already seen many mods based on the 20700 battery, and currently, the selection of 20700 batteries is still limited. Will the 20700 become the popular configuration this year? We shall see.
