After several years of development, electronic cigarette devices are transitioning from the player community to the general public. During this transition, the ease of use of products has significantly improved, with more and more simple, convenient, and high-performance devices becoming available to users. OFRF, as a well-established electronic cigarette manufacturer, has extensive R&D experience in this type of product, and today we present the EVIC NH80, a kit that allows for easy use.
The EVIC kit comes with a rich array of accessories for players. In addition to the main device and atomizer, the package includes 4 replacement atomizer cores, a pack of cotton, a spare glass tank, replacement O-rings, tweezers, and a USB data cable, making it very comprehensive. For novice players, this kit can meet their long-term usage needs.
The dimensions of the main device are only 29.5*40*120mm, making it comfortable to hold for both men and women without any pressure. The main device is covered with a layer of high-elastic silicone, providing excellent anti-slip performance when held. The silicone material also gives the main device good shock resistance, making it difficult for daily bumps to cause damage.
Although the main device has a built-in 2800mAh battery, it is very lightweight, weighing only 141g when combined with the atomizer. If you are not familiar with it, you might mistakenly think it requires an additional 18650 battery. The main device also supports 2A fast charging, allowing it to be fully charged in 2-3 hours. The high battery capacity and fast charging feature make the EVIC suitable for players who need to carry it around.
The bottom is equipped with a reset hole; the official explanation states that this device may experience freezing issues, which is why the reset hole is included. However, during several days of use, the test device did not experience any freezing issues.
The maximum output power of the EVIC is 80W, and the operation of the main device is very simple; just press the fire button five times in quick succession to turn it on. The 0.96-inch display shows battery level, resistance, and output voltage information. Pressing the fire button three times in quick succession allows you to select the output mode, which includes not only the common variable wattage mode but also bypass, Ni, Ti, and SS temperature control functions, with three memory modes available in temperature control mode.
Although the design of the device is compact and simple, the adjustment functions of the EVIC are quite rich. By holding down the fire button and the '+' button, you can enter the menu mode, where players can adjust options related to the display content, resistance, preheat mode, TCR, and more.
The EVIC NH80 kit comes with an EVIC NH atomizer, which features a highlight of a no-thread, snap-on atomizer core. For players with good manual skills, changing the cotton can extend the lifespan of the atomizer core. Additionally, the atomizer cores are affordably priced, with a pack of five costing only 39 yuan, well within the economic reach of most users.
While the snap-on atomizer core seems to provide a very convenient user experience, in practice, the matching of the test device's atomizer slot and atomizer core was not very good, requiring players to spend more effort to secure the atomizer core in the slot, which had the opposite effect (it is uncertain whether this is an isolated incident).
The resistance of the atomizer core is around 0.5 ohms, and paired with a 30W output power, it delivers a very good flavor performance.
The bottom of the atomizer features two adjustable airflow holes. When fully opened, it provides a very smooth lung hit experience, although the atomizer produces a relatively loud sound during inhalation (not a whistle). Below the atomizer are four juice holes; although the juice holes are narrow, there were no issues with juice flow when used at 30W output power.
To refill, players simply need to push open the top cover. The refill hole is surrounded by silicone material, making it compatible with most refill devices.
If during use the main device frequently prompts that it cannot find the atomizer core, try tightening the electrode screw of the atomizer core. This was a small issue encountered during the testing of the EVIC NH80.
Overall, the EVIC NH80 is not just a product designed for beginners; its simple operating logic, solid and durable construction, and excellent flavor performance make it fully capable of meeting the daily usage needs of experienced players. If you are looking for a simple, compact, and reliable product, consider adding the EVIC NH80 to your options.
