UFO Pod System Review: Hands-On with the KHREE UFO

In today’s booming vaping market, compact pod systems have become especially popular for their portability. Among the many options available, choosing the right one can be a challenge. Today we’re looking at the KHREE UFO pod device by Feiyan, marketed as
In the world of vaping devices, where compact pod systems are all the rage, even more portable products have won over many users. With so many pod systems on the market, finding the right personal “go-to device” is no easy task. Today we’re taking a look at the KHREE UFO Crazy Flying Saucer pod device, made by Feiyan and billed as the world’s first integrated e-cigarette with dual independent atomizers.

Before even receiving the review sample, our editor at Vape News was already highly interested in this device. Without a doubt, its appearance is the biggest eye-catcher. Unlike traditional e-cigarettes, which seem oddly obsessed with cylindrical, rod-like, and column-shaped designs reminiscent of male totems, this device creatively adopts a circular form. That undoubtedly provides more room for functional design. From a geometric perspective, given the same amount of material, a circle offers the largest area.

Packaging

Now let’s take a look at the actual product. The unit our editor received came in a red-and-black color scheme (nice—exactly my kind of colors). The packaging is a rectangular paper box with fairly decent printing and workmanship. The front features the product image and appearance. It’s unclear whether different color versions use different outer packaging colors. The back clearly lists the product specifications, place of manufacture, service phone number, and more at a glance. That’s something our editor appreciates, since it keeps users from feeling lost—product parameters should always be stated clearly. After opening the package, inside you’ll find the main device plus a small paper box containing: the KHREE UFO battery device (with two built-in 1.5Ω pods), one spare 1.5Ω pod, a USB charging cable, and a user manual.

Key product features

The biggest feature of the Crazy Flying Saucer is the line printed on the back of the box: the world’s first integrated e-cigarette with dual independent atomizers. Before getting the product, I was pretty puzzled about what “dual independent” actually meant. Once I had it in hand, the final design turned out to be quite simple: one flying-saucer-shaped device with two atomizers, both able to operate independently. In other words, one device is equivalent to two pod systems. Users can fill it with two different e-liquid flavors and vape them from the same device. Of course, because there’s no combined mouthpiece, if you want to experience both flavors at the same time, you’d practically need to stuff most of the device into your mouth—the distance between the two mouthpieces is really quite large. Don’t ask me how I know. So if your goal is to taste both flavors simultaneously, that function is basically useless. That said, if you simply want the convenience of switching between different e-liquid flavors in daily use, or using the same e-liquid longer without refilling, then this product does solve that problem quite well. For example, you could fill one pod with a dessert flavor and the other with a fruit flavor, or even use a mint flavor in one to experience a kind of hot-and-cold contrast. This time, our editor again used my favorite DROP series pod e-liquids from E&B, specifically Butter Tobacco and Grape (40mg nicotine). Butter Tobacco in particular performed very smoothly overall. Although it lacked some layering and complexity, the richness of flavor, fidelity, and smooth vapor still delivered a very good experience. Compared with the roughly seven or eight pod devices I’ve used, its performance is quite strong. After all, our editor doesn’t place especially high importance on appearance or design; flavor is the key factor I care about most, and its performance in that area earned a lot of goodwill. The innovative thinking behind the UFO pod system definitely deserves recognition. The dual independent pods make an otherwise single-flavor experience much more interesting, and this kind of innovation is rare in the industry. As a first mover, it deserves encouragement. Of course, every product has its shortcomings, and after using it for a while, I personally felt there are still a few areas with room for improvement: #p#Page Break Title#e#

First: the shape is a bit too rounded, to the point that if you’re not looking carefully, it’s hard to immediately find where the mouthpiece is. At the same time, since there’s very little obvious difference between the front and back, it’s also hard to quickly tell which side corresponds to which e-liquid you filled. The draw also doesn’t feel especially tight, so flavor delivery is somewhat less than ideal.

Actually, this issue wouldn’t be hard to solve. Personally, I’d suggest offering replacement pods in different colors so users can distinguish them more easily.

Second: perhaps in order to maintain the uniformity of the product’s shape, the pods lack a proper latch or grip point for insertion and removal, which makes them slightly inconvenient to use.

Third: as mentioned earlier, if the distance between the two mouthpieces could be reduced, or if a combined mouthpiece that allows both flavors to be inhaled at once were added, it would greatly improve the product’s fun factor and competitiveness.

That’s it for today’s review. Overall, the Crazy Flying Saucer is a very interesting product, and anyone curious can try it out for themselves. Oh, and please forgive my photography skills—they’re honestly pretty limited.
