meilin Berry Grapefruit E-Liquid Review

meilin Berry Grapefruit E-Liquid has recently garnered a lot of inquiries, so I’ll provide a brief review after receiving the product. meilin Berry Grapefruit E-Liquid is a domestic e-liquid that combines sour, sweet, and cool flavors. While the sourness can occasionally be a bit harsh, the fruity sweetness and coolness are quite good. It produces a large vapor with minimal carbon buildup, making it overall quite decent. If the flavors could blend better, the labeling could be more complete, and quality control could be further improved, it would be an excellent domestic e-liquid.
Appearance Review The black PET bottle is opaque. The label indicates 3mg, 60ml, 70% VG/30% PG, and a shelf life of 24 months, along with other Chinese instructions. Chinese manufacturing is improving, which is an undeniable fact. Initially, Japanese televisions were the best, but later Chinese televisions surpassed them. Now, Chinese televisions can even withstand bullets in the U.S. and still play. Mobile phones used to be dominated by Motorola and Nokia, then Apple took over, but gradually, domestic phones have improved so much that my family replaced all our Samsung and Apple phones with Huawei within a month last year; these examples show that Chinese manufacturing is progressing. In the e-liquid sector, it’s often said that American e-liquids are the best, followed by Malaysian, while domestic products are lacking. However, that’s not necessarily true! Domestic products still need to improve, but creating a standardized, traceable domestic e-liquid is not difficult and is timely! For instance, I personally mixed a chilled Tieguanyin that I think is great to vape; a manufacturer could easily do better than my amateur attempts, right? If they printed a domestic label, ensured all markings were complete, and improved anti-counterfeiting measures, they could gradually build a good reputation among users!
For this review, the barcode is from Yunshidun, and the Do logo has a circle R in the upper right corner, which I assume is a registered trademark, but I couldn't find any information on it. Is MEILIN the brand of the e-liquid? I’m not sure. Domestic products should be straightforward and transparent! If it’s genuinely good to vape, even if it’s produced by a small factory in a remote area, people would still be willing to buy it. But if it’s not good and has a lot of fake elements like shell companies or false customs codes, it’s completely untrustworthy; even if you claim it’s from aliens, people will only be deceived temporarily.
Thus, creating a reputable, standardized domestic e-liquid that gradually builds a good reputation and captures market share is a long-term strategy and an urgent task!
Aroma Review
It has a fruity scent, not just a fruit aroma, but somewhat like fermented fruit, or perhaps a bit of a spoiled fruit scent. When dripped on the back of my hand, it tastes a bit sour, with no burning sensation.
Mouth Inhale Review
Device: VooPoo Too (a device name with six o's), Typhoon GT3 atomizer, dual-core Clapton wire wrapped 6 times, 2.5mm diameter, resistance 0.33, with Muji cotton, in power mode at 50W. The atomizer was cleaned with warm water before oiling.
The initial taste is sour; I’ve tried several sour e-liquids recently, and this one is not soft, with a clear sour taste. In my mouth, the sourness oddly feels concentrated on my upper gums, with no sensation on my tongue. There’s no sourness when exhaling; the berry aroma gradually emerges, and finally, I feel the coolness on my tongue and the inside of my lower lip.
The vapor production is good, and the throat hit is initially quite nice, but occasionally the sourness can trigger a cough.
Lung Inhale Review
Device: Fuchai 213P, Mage DPRO atomizer + SuSu, homemade Tianhuo wire, 6 wraps, 3.0mm diameter, resistance 0.25, with Muji cotton, in power mode at 66.6W.
A big inhale almost made me cough; it’s sour, primarily the sour sensation, with a hint of grapefruit flavor. The vapor feels fruity in my mouth, and upon exhaling, I first taste the fruitiness, followed by the coolness.
After a few puffs, the vapor is substantial. After stepping out to wash my hands, I returned to find a strong sour aroma lingering in the air.
Carbon Buildup Review
Before oiling, the wire was quenched and cleaned, and the cotton was new. This is the carbon buildup situation after 4ml; there’s almost none.
Review Summary
To adapt to the current habits of many users who prefer visual, fragmented, and key-point-focused content, let’s change the order and start with the conclusion.
Highlights:
1. Domestic e-liquid, clearly marked with trademarks and product names, along with a Chinese barcode.
2. The sour-sweet flavor is not easily overwhelming.
3. Good vapor production with minimal carbon buildup.
Drawbacks:
1. Incomplete labeling, no production date.
2. I couldn’t open the cap on this bottle; I had to damage the outer cover to open it, indicating a need for improved quality control.
3. The flavor integration is poor; the sour, sweet, and cool sensations are distinctly separate, with sour first, then sweet, and finally cool, with little overlap or blending.
