Vape One Mini Pod Vape Review: Today, we are reviewing a vape pen kit, the Vape One Mini produced by Eboss. While the Eboss brand may not be very familiar, the Vape One is well-known as a starter device during the reign of big clouds, with simple operation and safe chip protection, making it very user-friendly for beginners. Now that nicotine salts have become the trend, the Vape One Mini is Eboss's device designed for nicotine salts. The packaging of the mini is not mini at all; it is much larger than a regular adjustable box mod, giving it a premium feel. The unboxing experience is reminiscent of a Russian nesting doll; the first layer is a black paper sleeve with product images and names, while the inner box is a drawer-style hard paper box featuring the logo (based on the design at the bottom of the vape pen). Pulling out the box reveals the device, which is somewhat mysterious, and once you remove the frosted paper, the actual device is revealed, all securely held in thick foam to protect it during transport, with labels indicating the name and important first-use instructions.
Here’s a family photo; I won’t list all the contents, but there are four plastic bags containing atomizer coils. Typically, there’s one pre-installed and one spare, but it’s rare to see five 0.8-ohm coils included, which should last quite a while.
The device measures 124*18mm, making it quite compact, with a built-in 1100mAh battery that can easily last a day with the high-resistance atomizer. The body is 84mm long, featuring a standard cylindrical shape with a black and gray color scheme that adds a touch of elegance. The black part has a rubberized finish, while the gray part has a metallic finish that shimmers under light, both having a matte texture that feels great in hand. The fire button indicator light and device name are integrated into the black section on the front, and the power on/off operation requires pressing the button five times.
In comparison with a mechanical mod, the Vape One Mini appears much slimmer. There are no other electronic mods for comparison, but with an 18mm diameter, it can be considered quite sleek.
The top features a common 510 connector, with a hexagonal pattern cut into the threads to effectively prevent atomizers from getting stuck and e-liquid from leaking onto the electrodes, which could cause device failure. The bottom also seems thoughtfully designed, with a volcano-shaped recess that has many holes, likely for battery heat dissipation and pressure relief. The mini continues the predecessor's dust cap design, effectively preventing the mouthpiece from coming into contact with dust and lint during transport. Both the atomizer mouthpiece and the bottom of the device can be capped with a dust cover, which can be placed on the bottom when not in use, so you don’t have to worry about losing it. However, initially, it can be difficult to remove the cap from the bottom, requiring some breaking in.
The atomizer, excluding the threads, is 42mm long, compact yet exquisite, consisting of a base, glass tank, top cap, and mouthpiece. The pre-installed glass tank is tinted, while the spare tank is completely transparent, allowing for customization based on preference. The mouthpiece is relatively small and smooth, which can be tricky to twist if your hands are sweaty. The airflow ring has a nut-like design, making it easier to adjust while also providing stability when the device is laid down to prevent rolling. There are two airflow holes, one large and one small, allowing for adjustment based on nicotine concentration. The atomizer uses ceramic material, which significantly enhances both lifespan and flavor compared to cotton coils. The 0.8-ohm resistance indicates it is designed for high-concentration e-liquids, and the official recommendation for using the atomizer on other devices is 12-17W.
The fill port is not particularly large, but since nicotine salt e-liquids are usually in squeeze bottles, refilling is not a hassle. The mouthpiece is a one-piece design and cannot be replaced, but the threaded connection is metal, ensuring durability during regular use.
Practical Testing
The e-liquid used is a 35mg nicotine salt tobacco flavor. There is no delay when firing, and vapor is produced instantly. I forgot to adjust the airflow on the first puff, and surprisingly, it didn’t cause any throat irritation; the draw resistance is at a light lung inhale level, and the flavor is quite good without any harsh throat hit. However, taking a few puffs can be quite intense. When the airflow is fully closed, the draw resistance is similar to that of a pod system, and in fact, it may be even tighter. The flavor reproduction is excellent, with a rich tobacco taste, and there was no bitterness from over-vaporizing the atomizer. Overall, the flavor is better than most refillable pod systems.

Since it can be used for light lung inhales, I decided to try regular e-liquid as well. The cucumber ice 3mg was refreshing with a pleasant cucumber flavor. It seems the ceramic coil does enhance flavor reproduction; the cooling effect is not as pronounced as with RTA and RDA setups, and there is almost no throat hit. The vapor production is decent, indicating that the mini can handle not just salts but also regular low-concentration e-liquids. If you enjoy a throat hit, using 6mg e-liquid should provide a good experience as well.
This is actually my first time using an electronic mod; I have only used mechanical mods before and was never interested in electronic ones. This initial experience has greatly increased my interest, and I’m now curious about trying larger cloud-producing electronic mods.
I personally found two shortcomings: first, the mouthpiece is a bit difficult to twist, especially for someone like me with slightly sweaty hands; second, the button has a slight wobble, and the fit isn’t perfect. Although the button feedback is good, it does affect the overall feel. Overall, this mini mod is quite impressive, and its flaws do not overshadow its strengths.
