Which is better, the 1st-gen or 2nd-gen YOOZ?

I’m not exactly a heavy enthusiast in this area, but I have tried several leading brands, including RELX, YOOZ, and ONOO. The YOOZ 2nd generation was only released this July, and compared with the 1st generation, it took nearly a year to launch. The two p

I am not a special enthusiast in this area, but I have tried several top brands, including RELX, YOOZ, and others.
The second generation of YOOZ was just released in July this year, but it took almost a year to launch compared to the first generation. The appearance of the two products is not very different, and their sizes are similar. The protective case of the first generation can also be used for the second generation, and the pods are interchangeable, which is a good point compared to RELX, which offers better cost-effectiveness in pod compatibility.

The main differences between the two products are reflected in their appearance. The second generation has more flamboyant colors, mainly using colorful gradients, which look quite cool. Personally, I really like the romantic aurora version with blue-green-purple gradients.

In terms of the charging interface, the second generation uses a Type C interface, which is more convenient than MicroUSB. Additionally, the breathing light of the second generation has changed to a three-color reminder status: white when the battery is above 60%; red when below 30%; and green in normal status between these levels. This design is quite user-friendly, reminding us of battery usage to avoid running out of power unexpectedly when going out.

It also adds a 15-port vibration feedback feature, which is a consensus in the electronic vaporizer industry. A good point is that the second generation has increased the collection tank for condensate, which can reduce the leakage of e-liquid smell when not used for a long time. As for the taste, I personally feel that the difference between the two is not particularly large, as both use FEELM inside branded pods. Those familiar with FEELM know that its vaporization technology is among the best in the industry, so both the first and second generations of YOOZ are equipped with FEELM ceramic cores, and the pods of both generations are interchangeable, meaning there is not much difference in taste. You don't have to worry too much about the taste issue.

Moreover, ceramic cores produced by large manufacturers like FEELM have consistent quality, unlike smaller manufacturers where the quality can vary significantly between batches. FEELM's fully automated POD production line ensures that the overall quality of ceramic core products is very reliable, and there won't be different tasting experiences between batches. As for which is better between the first and second generations of YOOZ, it ultimately depends on personal preference. However, I think the second generation has a better aesthetic and more user-friendly designs, with more refined craftsmanship. I hope this information is helpful to the original poster.
