Understanding Why RELX May Cause Coughing or Dry Mouth

After using RELX for half a month and learning from community discussions and user experiences, many common questions come up during use—especially dry mouth and coughing. These are concerns frequently raised by new users, and understanding the possible c

Having used RELX for half a month, I have been gathering information about RELX and e-cigarettes, and I check the community daily to see the shares from various experts.

During this time, I have learned a lot, and today I want to share some insights regarding the issues of dry mouth and coughing during inhalation!

I often see people asking about this, and I have experienced it myself.

Many people probably encounter dry mouth when they first start using RELX; I certainly did when I began.

After taking a few puffs, I experienced a slight cough, which worried me at first.

So, I researched various materials and posts, and now, after half a month, I can share what I have learned as a reference.

First, regarding coughing

The cause may be tobacco withdrawal symptoms (different from nicotine withdrawal)
Many smokers are accustomed to periodic coughing and nasal congestion, but as the body adapts to the influx of fresh oxygen, the daily side effects of smoking can become more pronounced, including throat irritation and coughing.
Solution: Over time, as you use e-cigarettes, tobacco withdrawal symptoms will naturally diminish. Adverse reactions such as dry cough, throat irritation, and oral irritation will decrease as it is an adaptation issue.

In simple terms, if your throat feels uncomfortable, take small, slow puffs to gradually adapt. Normally, after some time, your throat should adjust and feel better. I hardly cough now.

Secondly, regarding dry mouth

This is quite common, and many people should be aware of it.

The main components of RELX e-liquid are glycerin, propylene glycol, nicotine, and flavorings. Glycerin and propylene glycol are commonly used as raw materials in food processing; for example, dumplings in fast food often contain propylene glycol, and beer contains glycerin.
Nicotine in our e-liquid is in the form of neutral nicotine salts.
Flavorings are common in various food products.
Glycerin has hygroscopic properties.
Therefore, if you are using it frequently, make sure to drink plenty of water.

So, if you experience similar situations, there's no need to worry too much; it's likely normal. However, I do want to emphasize that this product is ultimately something we inhale into our bodies. When purchasing e-liquid pods, make sure to buy genuine products, genuine products, genuine products!!!
It's important to repeat this three times.
