The world's first e-cigarette was created in 2003, and over the following decade, more and more marketing companies began to enter the e-cigarette production industry. In the domestic market, Shenzhen is one of the main cities for e-cigarette manufacturing, and at one point, it accounted for 90% of global production capacity. However, the consumer market is always an organic entity that only talks strategy and not rules; in just a few years, once-prominent quality products have already fallen from grace and are no longer visible. So, how does RELX e-cigarette manage to lead the industry goals?

 

1. High Standards

 

RELX e-cigarettes invested tens of millions to create a dedicated laboratory before entering the market. Every staff member in the laboratory must wear professional dust-proof clothing and hats, and after a series of handwashing and disinfection procedures, they can enter the workshop to carry out the next stage of operations and processes.

 

In the assembly workshop of RELX e-cigarettes, thousands of production workers operate in an orderly manner, handling the installation and adjustment of every procedure, while the products are sent off the production line only after being processed by automated equipment and workers' dual efforts. RELX's R&D director Jiang Xingtai stated:“Currently, RELX's production technology can monitor 17 types of substances in the e-liquid and cover 54 specific indicators.”

 

2. High Requirements

 

RELX e-cigarettes are among the few companies that insist on quality control and chemical testing for every batch of e-liquid, and they are also the first domestic brand to independently establish standards for e-cigarette atomized liquid. Because of this, every puff of e-cigarette that smokers inhale presents an excellent effect of being environmentally friendly, non-toxic, flavorful, and aromatic.

 

In 2019, RELX e-cigarettes launched three new products to the main market, and under a series of strategic maneuvers, they captured 60% of the market share, creating a myth that many companies can only look up to. Currently, the total number of smokers in China accounts for one-third of the global total, but the coverage of e-cigarettes is still less than one-tenth of the global total, indicating that RELX e-cigarettes still have a long way to go in terms of attributes, base, and penetration in the capital market.
