The Difference Between Leaking and Condensation in RELX 1st Generation Pods and How to Fix It
The RELX 1st generation pods currently use a dual isolation design, and the oil leakage situation in natural environments is controlled to within 2%!

1. Condensate, I won't take the blame for pod oil leakage
What is condensate? Here’s a professional explanation: The e-liquid that has been atomized but not inhaled, where the PG (propylene glycol) in the e-liquid condenses in the air to form a liquid, containing a small amount of e-liquid, inhaled ultimately has a sweet and stimulating sensation, which is mistakenly thought to be oil leakage.
Condensate is a normal physical phenomenon; it is indeed possible to occasionally inhale condensate because the smoke we inhale is actually vaporized steam, which condenses when it encounters cold. This is similar to the liquid produced when water vapor contacts the bottom of a metal kettle while boiling water; it is a normal phenomenon of e-cigarettes. You can shake the pod with the mouthpiece facing down a few times and wipe the mouthpiece clean before use! Condensate is not harmful to the body, so rest assured!
We can look at the similarities and differences between the two through the comparison chart below.

Let’s take a look at the differences:
Condensate is dark brown, while oil leakage is light yellow; after shaking down the condensate and wiping it clean, it will not continue to leak, whereas if it is oil leakage, it will still leak after wiping clean.

We can also distinguish between condensate and oil leakage by the sound of atomization and the color of the liquid.
Atomization sound: During the heating process of atomization, a “gurgling” sound is produced, which is caused by the accumulation of condensate;
Liquid color: Wipe with a tissue; at the connection between the pod and the device, the e-liquid is light yellow, while the condensate is dark brown;

Condensate mainly exists at the mouthpiece and the connection with the mouthpiece.
So, for the accumulation of condensate, the solution is very simple; see the image below.

Just shake out the condensate with force!
If you hear a gurgling sound during use or feel oil in your mouth, these phenomena basically remind you to clean the condensate from the pod. Insert a tissue into the device's internal chamber to absorb the condensate or e-liquid that has leaked from the pod.
2: Under what circumstances might oil leakage occur?
Firstly, drastic changes in air pressure are one of the main causes of oil leakage, such as when you fly or climb a mountain, as changes in altitude can cause slight oil leakage.
Therefore, when flying, be sure to remove the pod from the device and pack it well to effectively avoid oil leakage.
Currently, the oil leakage phenomenon mainly occurs in the 1st generation RELX pods, while the upgraded 2nd and 3rd generation pods have almost zero oil leakage due to upgraded technology.
So, friends worried about oil leakage can purchase the 2nd generation pods, which are claimed to have zero oil leakage, and in our actual sales process, the 2nd generation Alpha pods indeed have almost zero after-sales issues!
