Detailed Review of the RELX 4th Gen Infinity: Recommended Pod Flavors

The fourth-generation RELX product, Infinity, is the most robust generation in the RELX series. As an upgraded version of the classic model, Infinity has eliminated many flashy gimmicks and has been upgraded based on the first three generations, truly capturing the essence while discarding the dross.

1. Packaging

The outer packaging continues the sky-covering style of the first and second generations, with two pods (mint and mung bean) included in the set.

2. Device Body
Currently, there are three color options. Except for the overly flashy red, the other colors are generally acceptable to the public.

I personally use the silver color, which is similar to the light sculpted platinum of Alpha, with the only difference being that Infinity's color is slightly darker.

The official price is 329 yuan, which is 30 yuan more expensive than the first generation.

The shape of the device is standard, very rounded, and lacks the sharp feel of Alpha. Overall, it has no distinctive features, weighing 2g more than the first generation, with no significant difference in hand feel. The breathing light is designed in a circular shape similar to Alpha. The charging port is a type-C interface, and the pod slot has reverted to the most popular reversible design. The only downside is that the air intake hole is not designed to be hidden, which can lead to a feeling of difficulty in inhalation due to the grip position.

Initially, the official promotion mentioned wireless charging, but upon receiving it, I found it still uses a magnetic charging interface—false wireless charging confirmed!

3. Pods
There are a total of 9 flavors (with three more yet to be released), all selected from the best-selling flavors of 2019. The capacity is 2ml, with an official price of 99 yuan per box of three, returning to the same price as the first generation, with one pod lasting about 2-3 days.

It is commendable that although the price of Infinity's pods is the same as the first generation, in terms of oil leakage and condensation prevention, it can be said that no other e-cigarette can compete with it. For example, the flavors that were most prone to condensation in the first generation, mung bean and peach oolong (fragrant peach tea), did not experience any oil leakage or condensation issues when I finished a pod.

I won't go into detail about the flavor testing; the flavors currently available in the fourth generation are all selected from the first generation, and there is no significant difference in flavor and taste compared to the first generation. There may be slight differences due to the atomization core, but it’s not something to worry about.
