Does RELX Vape Leak Seriously? Can You Still Use It? Common Fixes for Leaking

Leaking has always been one of the most common issues with vaping devices. Manufacturers have been actively trying to solve it, but it has not been completely eliminated. As a result, many e-cigarettes on the market still experience some leakage. According to RELX’s introduction to its “Extract Release Technology” at the launch event for the new RELX α, RELX uses four layers of leak prevention. The pod structure uses a liquid silicone process for better sealing. The mouthpiece and SPCC feature a dual-lock design. A 30 mm wall-style chamber is used to effectively lock in condensation. In addition, felt ceramic material is used as the heating medium for the e-liquid. With 360-degree even heating and a circular airflow inlet, the airflow is doubled compared with traditional inhalation channels, allowing every drop of e-liquid to be fully atomized and reducing the risk of leakage.

Common solutions for RELX leaking: pod leakage may be caused by air pressure changes

Changes in environmental air pressure may cause slight pod leakage:

Changes in altitude (such as flying or mountain climbing) can cause slight e-liquid leakage due to air pressure fluctuations.

#Solutions:

1. Keep the outer packaging (capsule) of unused pods intact: when a RELX user receives the pods, each pod is sealed inside a capsule. The air pressure inside the capsule remains stable, which can greatly reduce the risk of leakage;

2. Use other tools to create a sealed environment for the pod, such as a sealed box: placing the pod in a sealed container can reduce pod leakage to a certain extent.

Common solution for RELX leaking: how to deal with condensation?

Condensation treatment falls under device maintenance and can be handled in the following ways:

1. Use a tissue to wipe the connection area between the device and the pod (and confirm whether it is actually condensation buildup);

2. Gently flick the mouthpiece downward to shake out some of the accumulated condensation.

For RELX rechargeable vaping devices, replacing the pod can minimize damage to the device caused by condensation buildup. Everyone should clean and maintain their device daily.
