What’s the difference between the 5th and 4th generation RELX devices? A professional review
I am an experienced user of RELX e-cigarettes, having used them since the first generation, and now with the release of the fifth generation, I have purchased it to experience it.
After using the RELX e-cigarette for a few days, I plan to provide a review to help us understand the advantages of the fifth generation and the differences between the fifth and fourth generations of RELX e-cigarettes.
Let’s briefly discuss the pros and cons of the fifth and fourth generations.

In terms of appearance:
The fifth generation uses a new style of pod, a rectangular pod that is more comfortable, elegant, and beautiful when paired with both the fifth and fourth generation devices.
Regarding the hardness of the device shell:
The fifth generation shows a significant improvement over the fourth generation. The fourth generation easily gets dented with a slight touch, while the fifth generation has a reinforced charging input at the bottom, making it much stronger than the fourth generation. I believe users who dislike using a case for the fourth generation have encountered issues with the charging port deforming after dropping it.
Device air holes:
The fourth generation has one on each side, while the fifth generation has three located on the left and right sides of the upper half of the device and one on the left side at the bottom. According to official information, the bottom air hole is designed to prevent oil leakage and condensate, though I have yet to experience this function.
Vaporization effect:
The fifth generation has a higher power than the fourth generation, producing more vapor with less resistance and a milder throat hit. This means the fifth generation consumes oil faster and has a weaker craving-satisfying effect compared to the fourth generation. I do not have official power data, but this is based on my personal experience over three days.
Battery life:
The fifth generation has slightly better battery life; the fourth generation lasts about two days on a charge, while the fifth generation can last three days without issue. However, I must say that the extra day does not feel like a significant advantage.
Differences in pod compatibility:
The flavor of the fifth generation pods is more refined compared to the fourth generation. For example, the green bean flavor in the fifth generation is better and has a higher fidelity.
The new strawberry flavor is, in a word, an enhanced version of watermelon. I believe those who enjoy a cooler, slightly sweet flavor will love it; it really makes the room smell nice.
