How Is the 1st Generation RELX, and What Does the New Packaging Look Like?

The RELX 1st generation starter kit comes in a total of 12 colors (excluding collaboration editions), including 6 regular versions released earliest, 4 gradient versions, and 1 antique bronze gold colorway. Each kit includes two pods (tobacco and mint). The official retail price is 299 RMB per box, while pods are 99 RMB per box (each box contains three pods).

It is worth noting that the previous old packaging has already been replaced with a new, minimalist and compact design. According to feedback from a large number of consumers, the pods included in the Aurora kit have also been changed from tobacco and mint to mung bean and watermelon.

Precautions during use

1. Since the RELX 1st generation does not support fast charging, using a current higher than the maximum 600mA may cause the device body to heat up. Therefore, the most recommended charging method is direct charging through a USB port (a full charge supports about 250–300 puffs).

2. If you carry it around with you, pod leakage and condensation leakage are situations you will likely encounter. The fix is very simple: if there is e-liquid leakage, wipe away the liquid around the pod mouthpiece. If there is condensation leakage, simply wipe the bottom of the pod and the connection area between the pod and the device.

3. Following up on the previous point, the amount of leaked e-liquid or condensation is generally acceptable, but any leaked liquid must be wiped clean. Otherwise, after a few puffs you may feel a tingling sensation in your mouth, and the device may start making a gurgling sound.

4. Be sure to pay attention to the angle when vaping. A 45° angle is recommended, but as long as there is e-liquid at the bottom and the atomizer core does not dry burn, it should be fine.

Although the 1st generation is RELX’s earliest product, its excellent performance, quality control, and outstanding value for money make it a very suitable first choice for beginners.
