Which YOOZ Flavor Is Best?
YOOZ currently offers more than 20 flavors. The lower-selling ones include Qingrun, Chinese Style, Light, and Blueberry, and these may be the flavors people often call “misses.” Some users also can’t handle the Classic Original flavor, finding it too strong.
How the Four Classic Flavors Taste: Tobacco, Mint, Mung Bean, and Black Ice
- The mint pod tastes like sugar-free Wrigley’s spearmint gum, with the classic profile of Western-style mint tobacco. Throughout the session, you can clearly taste both the mint and tobacco notes, making it especially refreshing in summer.
- The tobacco flavor is similar to HALO Tribeca and is especially effective for satisfying tobacco cravings.
- Black Ice tastes similar to a Marlboro-style flavor. It is cooler than the mint version, while also adding a tobacco aroma on top of the minty base.
- Mung bean also has a cooling element. It tastes a lot like mung bean ice cream you’d have in summer, with no extra mixed-in flavors, so it comes across as very simple and refreshing.
Fruit Flavors
The fruit flavors are also very good, including Fresh Lemon, Icy Mango, Lime Grapefruit, Sweet Lychee, Refreshing Hami Melon, Rock Sugar Snow Pear, Peach Oolong, and Crystal Pineapple. Among these, the lemon, lychee, Hami melon, snow pear, and pineapple flavors are purer fruit flavors, with moderate cooling—some are only lightly cool, and some are not cool at all. Lime Grapefruit and Peach Oolong are more like tea drinks from a cold beverage shop, and they’re quite good, with a flavor even cleaner and more authentic than drinking a bottled beverage.
Big Vapor Production
The first strong impression YOOZ gives is its large vapor production (the tobacco flavor also has a nutty note). YOOZ is genuinely surprising in this regard: if you are looking for throat hit, it delivers, and the vapor volume is definitely substantial. The mint flavor offers a cooling sensation just as satisfying as RELX, and the lingering minty coolness left on the tongue lasts quite a while. Of course, this kind of thing ultimately comes down to personal preference.
