Due to the nature of vaping products, which heavily rely on user experience, flavor has become a crucial factor for vape brands to gain market influence. A good flavor is inseparable from high-quality atomization cores. The rapid growth of the vaping industry is also closely linked to innovations in atomization core technology.

The atomization core is the core component of vaping products, evolving from fiberglass wicks and cotton cores to the current ceramic cores. As a technology-driven company in the vaping industry, Boulder has successfully developed atomization core technology. Boulder’s products utilize a cylindrical ceramic process, and after years of iteration, the cylindrical ceramic core has become the most mainstream and mature structure, achieving a high level in atomization, leak prevention, and flavor restoration. However, Boulder has not stopped there. After referencing the characteristics of high porosity and fast atomization in printed ceramics, Boulder innovatively incorporated graphene materials into its research, creating the seventh-generation graphene ceramic atomization core technology.

The high-strength porous ceramic material made from graphene is an excellent material for replaceable pod vaping atomization cores. Boulder’s seventh-generation graphene ceramic atomization core is the first in the industry to use graphene materials, solving the problems of low heating efficiency due to thick ceramic cores and fragility due to thin ones. Previously, Boulder’s star product, the new Amber, adopted the seventh-generation graphene ceramic atomization core technology. The wall thickness of the ceramic tube in the new Amber has been reduced from the mainstream 2mm to 1mm, increasing the atomization speed by 100%.

Additionally, the diameter of the honeycomb holes in the new Amber has been reduced from the mainstream 20 microns to 12 microns. Smaller honeycomb holes mean stronger oil retention capability, and the oil retention ability of the new Amber has improved by 40% compared to similar products on the market. The overall porosity of the new Amber has also increased from 50% to 63%, enhancing the amount of e-liquid that can be absorbed when the atomization core is fully loaded. It is well known that the e-liquid capacity of 1.6ml is a watershed; exceeding 1.6ml can lead to severe leaking, while a smaller capacity requires consumers to frequently replace pods.

To address this common issue in vaping products, Boulder’s technical strength provides consumers with effective solutions. The new Amber’s 12-micron honeycomb holes, combined with dual-permeation oil guiding technology, directly increase the e-liquid capacity to 3.5ml, exceeding most similar products on the market by at least 75%. The dual-permeation oil guiding technology and 220℃ constant temperature control technology safeguard the atomization system of the new Amber. With multi-faceted technical support, every puff is full and rich, restoring the true smoking experience. The new Amber has also become a new benchmark for replaceable pod vaping products in China.

Furthermore, Boulder has wrapped the graphene ceramic core with 75g of high-density oil-absorbing cotton, a material with excellent water-repellent properties that securely locks the e-liquid within the pores of the ceramic core. The 75g density was carefully selected by Boulder; according to Wang Guang'an, Boulder’s partner and COO, it took about half a month to select materials and determine density, ultimately deciding to wrap three layers of 75g oil-absorbing cotton around the ceramic core to achieve the best balance between oil retention and breathability.

The new Amber showcases Boulder’s profound technical strength, and Boulder is committed to providing consumers with higher quality and better tasting vaping products. By effectively addressing the common issues in vaping products on the market and targeting consumer pain points, Boulder has successfully gained widespread recognition from the market and consumers.
