How Is the RELX 4th Gen Infinity? RELX Infinity Review
Today, I bring you the RELX Infinity, the fourth generation of the RELX series. It has little connection with the previous two generations, removing the business style and low cost-performance ratio, and returning to practicality and affordability. It is quite close to the first generation, with a cool name and wireless charging capabilities. Compared to the first generation, its aesthetics have significantly improved, but I wonder how the user experience is, so let's take a look together today.

Top 1. Packaging
Today, I am reviewing the black and white color of the RELX 4th generation, which comes in a separate device packaging and does not include pods. The packaging is almost identical to that of the first generation, with the front showing the device color and the Guardian Program, and the back displaying product information for the RELX 4th generation. It uses a pull-tab opening method, and upon opening, the manual is on top, with the device and data cable below, maintaining a clean and simple design.

Top 2. Device
The device features an aluminum alloy unibody design, with a rounded shape and perfectly proportioned curves, providing a great grip. The metallic sandblasted finish and prominent logo enhance its visual appeal. The top pod slot uses a magnetic design, with a symmetrical layout that allows for blind insertion. When inserted, there is a breathing light and vibration feedback. Notably, the RELX 4th generation pod slot has a place to collect condensation, which is a blessing for someone like me who is lazy and doesn't want to clean every day, haha.
The side air intake holes are relatively small, making the draw tighter compared to MOTI and YOOZ. The circular breathing light in the middle uses micro-perforations for light transmission, providing a high-tech feel when inhaling. The RELX logo is now placed on the upper part of the device, showing increasing confidence. The bottom features a type-C and wireless charging port, equipped with a 380mAh battery, which takes about 38 minutes to fully charge, sufficient for a day's use. Additionally, the RELX also has a wireless charging case that combines charging and storage, which is quite business-like, but needs to be purchased separately.

Top 3. Pods
The fourth generation pods are designed with 1.9ML capacity, with a rounder shape that perfectly fits the RELX 4th generation device. Aesthetically, they look much better than the first generation. They use customized atomization cores from Micron and an exclusive maze leak-proof structure, which still performs well in leak prevention, although it has improved significantly compared to the first generation. The pods, like the first generation, do not have flavor labels, but can be distinguished by the color and code at the bottom. The vapor production of the RELX 4th generation is slightly less than that of the first generation, but the difference is not significant. However, the throat hit of the fourth generation is stronger and more satisfying, while the flavor clarity is richer and more authentic, providing a completely different experience compared to the first generation. The RELX 4th generation offers a wide variety of flavors, currently around 20 options, and today I will introduce three flavors that I think are quite good.
1. Ice Mung Bean
This flavor is reminiscent of mung bean ice cream, with a slight astringency on the tongue upon entry, moderate coolness, and a weak throat hit. The overall sweetness is not prominent, and after exhaling, it has a taste similar to mung bean soup, which is relatively mild but has a lasting aftertaste. The coolness gradually builds up, and the refreshing taste turns sweet in the aftertaste. If you are a fan of mung bean flavors, you might want to give this one a try.
2. Ice Watermelon
This flavor still has a bubblegum taste, with a slight sweetness on the tongue upon entry, high coolness, and a moderate throat hit. Upon exhaling, it leans towards a watermelon frost flavor, with moderate sweetness and a refreshing taste. Compared to the first generation, it has a bit more sweetness and a richer flavor, and I personally prefer the fourth generation.
3. Pineapple Whirlwind
My favorite is salted pineapple! Upon entry, there is a slight sweetness on the tongue, moderate coolness, and a medium throat hit. The sweetness is a bit higher, and upon exhaling, you can distinctly taste the salted pineapple flavor, which is quite rich. The coolness follows, providing a refreshing taste with a hint of sweetness that both boys and girls would enjoy.
The flavors of the RELX 4th generation pods are quite rich, and compared to the first generation, there has been significant progress in e-liquid atomization. The delicate and smooth taste, along with appropriate draw resistance, makes it a perfect successor to the RELX first generation. If the first generation was the pioneer, then the fourth generation is the culmination, with better leak prevention, improved flavor, and a more intelligent inhalation experience. It addresses previous shortcomings while innovating and surpassing. As the new mainstay of RELX, it offers certain guarantees in quality control and flavor. If you are an old user of the RELX first generation and want to upgrade, the RELX 4th generation is a great choice. If you are a vaping novice looking to get into RELX, I also recommend the RELX 4th generation, as it offers better aesthetics, flavor, and overall experience at a similar official price point compared to the two.
