RELX 3rd Generation vs 5th Generation: Which Is Better? User Feedback

I started using vaping devices a long time ago. About ten years ago, when they became popular, I bought a kit. The flavors were too basic, so I stopped using it. Later, I really started using them regularly after buying an IQOS in Japan. It was much better than regular cigarettes, but the tobacco sticks were too inconvenient to buy.

Here’s a user’s experience buying the 3rd generation RELX. I felt a bit ripped off, but out of curiosity I tried RELX again. The flavor was no worse than IQOS, yet it was still cheaper. Going to the counter and facing so many generations of products is honestly confusing.

I guess a lot of people are like me and just let the sales clerk recommend something. The clerk recommended the 3rd generation, saying it had the best flavor and the best vaporization performance. After that, all that was left was choosing pod flavors. The total came to more than 1,000 yuan.

When I went back to buy pods, I suddenly noticed a guy next to me had bought pods for only 33 yuan. Later, I asked the clerk and found out that the 3rd generation pods were more expensive. For the price I paid for two packs of 3rd generation pods, I could have bought three packs of the others. Even then, the clerk kept insisting that the 3rd generation had the best flavor.

I said I wanted to try the 5th generation. After trying it, I found that aside from the pod flavors being genuinely different, everything else was basically fine. At least, I couldn’t really feel much difference. The profit margin is definitely different, though. For this kind of consumable product, the device itself hardly matters in terms of cost; pods are where the biggest spending goes. Since it’s an ongoing expense, a 33.33% price difference is not a small amount, so I decisively bought a 5th generation set. I’m sure my experience is not unique. Even now, some people still think all pods are priced the same. I’m sharing this so people who haven’t looked closely can see the difference.
