This time, at the invitation of the brand, I will conduct a detailed flavor review of the vitavp Vita Gen 2 pod system. I received a total of 11 flavors of pods, a collaboration device with IG that never works overtime, and some peripheral products. Among them, the most unexpected were two basketballs, reminding us not to forget to exercise while vaping, how thoughtful!

Flavor Restoration and Throat Hit:

Each pod has an e-liquid capacity of 1.6ml and a resistance of 1.7 ohms. The pods use Pima organic cotton for atomization, providing a high level of flavor restoration. Vita’s flavoring style has its own ideas, striving to create its own characteristics while covering popular flavors commonly found in the market.

Berry Lemon: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is relatively weak. A complex flavor of raspberry and lemon, the overall taste leans towards fruit juice gummy. The lemon is well-handled, consistently present throughout the draw, although it leans more towards a supplement, it remains very natural without any weird detergent-like taste. Notably, this flavor won the Top Ten Flavor Award in a blind taste test at the 2019 Shanghai IECIE exhibition, and after a comprehensive experience, this award is well-deserved. Mango Smoothie: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is relatively low. The green mango, perfectly balanced sweetness ensures a fulfilling sensation upon inhalation without being overly sweet. Taro for You: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is relatively low. Taro milk tea, while ensuring a smooth and rich taro flavor, blends in milkiness, with a moderate coolness, making it a flavor I personally enjoy very much. 【Rating: 8.5/10】

Snowball Hawthorn: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is strong. The entrance is characterized by the fresh fruit skin aroma of hawthorn, reminiscent of sipping a fresh hawthorn soaked in water. The sweetness is restored in the sugar coating on the hawthorn ball, performing well, though the acidity is somewhat weak; personally, I feel that if the sourness could be highlighted to restore the original acidity of the hawthorn fruit, it would be better. Overall, the nicotine salt content is relatively high, which somewhat disrupts the refreshing impression. 【Rating: 8/10】

Kyoho Grape: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is relatively low. The first puff brings a full grape skin aroma, paired with an oak fragrance, naturally fitting. A hint of weak tannin astringency is tasted, but the grape juice sensation still needs to be strengthened. A recreation of the classic HALO 15 presidential flavor e-liquid, the main note is cocoa flavor, with a subtle sweetness paired with caramel aroma, combined with herbal tobacco flavor. The inherent tobacco aroma serves as a base, with the first few puffs focusing on the blend, while continuous puffs reveal a more pronounced tobacco char. James Tobacco offers a unique experience among tobacco flavors in pod systems, as cocoa tobacco is not commonly seen. 【Rating: 8/10】

Winter is Coming: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is moderate. A cooling sensation that hits the throat, refreshing and invigorating, a summer thirst quencher. The flavor presents a mint herbal aroma, crisp and simple. One aspect I don’t quite understand is the addition of sweetness; perhaps it’s to balance the plain mint’s emptiness. Personally, I don’t like the sweet element, but this refreshing mint with a hint of sweetness is quite popular in the market, making it a good choice for many new users. 【Rating: 7.5/10】

Explosive Ice Pineapple: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is moderate. Comparatively leaning towards pineapple beer, the fruit aroma is not particularly strong, with a subtle unique beer hop flavor in the aftertaste, moderate coolness, and leaning towards a pineapple juice beverage. The downside is that the continuity of flavor decreases with continuous puffs, becoming somewhat hollow in the later stages. 【Rating: 7.5/10】

Don’t Be Too Green: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is relatively low. This green bean flavor is situated between the essence of green beans and green bean desserts, not too overpowering. The sweetness accumulates, with the first puff being low, but it builds up just right. Personally, I’m not particularly interested in green beans, as almost every pod brand is releasing them, and the differences are minimal, making it somewhat tiresome. 【Rating: 7/10】

Early Spring Red Jade: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is strong. Finally, it’s no longer the watermelon bubblegum style; it innovatively restores the refreshing taste of small watermelon, mixed with fruity wood aroma, creating a unique flavoring style. However, after prolonged use, a fatal flaw was discovered: the nicotine stimulation is somewhat strong, overpowering the flavoring, significantly affecting the vaping experience. 【Rating: 6/10】

Strawberry Puff: Nicotine content 4% (40mg/ml), throat hit satisfaction is strong. The flavor direction is strawberry yogurt, with a somewhat heavy milk flavor, making it feel less natural. The taste of dried strawberries tends to complement each other, with the main tone being creamy, overly sweet. The throat hit in this dessert flavor is also too high. 【Rating: 6/10】

Overall Impressions:

A while ago, I did a review of the vitavp Vita Gen 2 pod system on the Blue Hole New Consumption platform, which left a good impression on me. Recently, I visited a newly opened flagship store, and the overall decor and brand style are trendy and cool.

After this experience, these 11 flavors have some standout performances and stunning vaping experiences, though there are also minor regrets. However, it is evident that the brand is putting effort into flavoring, and overall, they did not make major mistakes in the fundamental tone. In the context of severe market homogenization, striving to create their own characteristics and style is commendable.
