"Golden Charm" — Fumytech BALLON RDA Atomizer
During the time this article is published, it coincides with the World Cup, which is the most anticipated event for football fans worldwide. During this period, we not only hear various "see you on the rooftop" phenomena but also see a variety of World Cup-themed peripheral products. Today, I would like to introduce an interesting product, the BALLON RDA atomizer produced by the Fumytech brand.

Looking at its shape, if you are familiar with Fumytech's products, you can immediately associate it with the Dragon Ball atomizer.

Upon opening, you can see the internal accessories, which include a piece of cotton, various O-rings, a screwdriver, a bottom fill screw, and four pre-made coils.

The overall shape of the golden ball atomizer is actually not much different from the Dragon Ball atomizer; it still maintains a spherical shape. However, the visual differences between the two are quite obvious. The golden ball atomizer, named RDA, indicates that it is a dripping atomizer, so the tank part is not transparent, and the football pattern and English prompts are perfectly aligned with the World Cup theme.

After disassembling, the main components are shown in the above image, and the workmanship is still impeccable.

The 810 drip tip is made of PEI material, and it can be properly installed on the tank with the black connector kit. During daily use, due to the large diameter of the drip tip, you can refill directly from the drip tip without needing to disassemble it.

Moving to the tank part, although it appears to have a shiny finish on the outside, the texture is excellent and may lead one to mistakenly believe it is made of aluminum. However, looking at the inner wall reveals that it is made of brass, and due to the brass material, this golden ball has a substantial "weight".

The airflow is designed with conventional opposing airflow slots, and as seen in the above image, the adjustment ring is removable; just pay attention to the slots on the base.

The design of the electrode posts adopts a relatively popular split-edge style, with the airflow positioned centrally between the positive and negative poles, allowing for direct airflow to the heating wire.

From this angle, you can see that the bottom fill hole is set on either side of a raised post, which, when paired with BF devices, can better direct the e-liquid evenly to both sides in the case of a very deep juice well.

When making the coil, you only need to pay attention to the lead length, cotton length, and the distance between the two coils; there is nothing difficult about it.

In use, you first need to understand that this type of atomizer is designed for low-resistance coils and thicker wire gauges, and should be used with a coil diameter of 3.0 or 3.5mm. Fine wires and high resistance are clearly not suitable; this is basic knowledge about atomizers. Therefore, when used correctly, even if its internal space is quite spacious, the flavor produced is actually not much different from that of the 528/Kennedy types. Do not say "the flavor is poor" just because you do not understand how to use it; that is merely a personal usage issue.

As a product without flaws and very functional, it is indeed a representative of the quirky design category. Even though it can be used with bottom-fill devices and conventional box devices, it is ultimately recommended to use it with mechanical mods. After all, the route this atomizer takes is a personalized one, and pursuing so-called aesthetics or flavor is not its goal.
