YOOZ User Guide: YOOZ Charging Precautions
First: What type of plug should you choose for the YOOZ e-cigarette? How do you charge the YOOZ?
The YOOZ second generation has a battery capacity of 350mAh, which is not very large compared to other electronic products, so choosing the right charger is important. A high-power plug can cause phantom power, leading to faster battery drain and shorter battery life. It is recommended to use a charger around 5A / 2A.
Important reminder: Battery faults caused by using high-power fast charging plugs are considered human damage and cannot be serviced!
Secondly: When should you charge the YOOZ e-cigarette?
This is where the breathing light of the YOOZ comes into play. Did you think it was just a stylish decoration? Think again! It also serves as a battery indicator. The breathing light = battery indicator; a white light means the battery is above 60%, a green light indicates the battery is between 60% and 30%, and a red light means the battery is below 30%. When the indicator shows red, you need to charge it as soon as possible. If you take a puff and see the red light flashing three times and the vapor output is very low, it means the battery is completely dead.
Finally: Some may ask, does charging before bed or forgetting to unplug have any impact?
The correct answer is: NO, it has no impact!
The YOOZ device has an automatic power-off protection feature. When the battery is fully charged, the breathing light will automatically turn off and stop charging, preventing damage to the device from prolonged charging. This feature is indeed great; now my mom doesn't have to worry about me leaving it charging overnight and only unplugging it in the morning ^_^
